At 4.78 MW(dc) and sited on ponds at the City&#8217;s wastewater treatment plant, the project is the largest floating solar project completed in <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span> to date.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n<div class=\"PRN_ImbeddedAssetReference\" id=\"DivAssetPlaceHolder1\">\n<p title=\"White Pine Renewables has just completed the largest floating solar project in the U.S., a 4.78 MW floating solar project for the City of Healdsburg, Calif. Located in the heart of the wine country in Sonoma County, Healdsburg has set a target for 60% renewable energy by 2030. With little land open for development, the city found available space for solar on the city\u2019s wastewater treatment ponds.\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VD8djMFO6yY\" frameborder=\"0\">\u00a0<\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The electricity generated by the project will cover approximately 8% of the City&#8217;s total energy demand and is an important part of the City&#8217;s plan to reach 60% renewable energy before 2030.
