The project is located in a service area along a highway, with a total planned capacity of 3.5MW. It is designed with a self-generation and self-consumption operation mode, which can meet the daily electricity demand of the infrastructures in the service area. After completion, it can generate 4200MWh of electricity per year, which is equivalent to an annual saving of 1377.6t of standard coal (based on the average standard coal consumption of 320g\/kWh) compared with thermal power of the same capacity, and correspondingly reduce the emission of various air pollutants per year, including about 126t of sulfur dioxide (SO2), 4187.4t of carbon dioxide (CO2) and 63t of nitrogen oxides (NOx).<\/p>\n<p><b>What is &#8220;PV + Highway&#8221;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>&#8220;PV<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><b>+<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><b>Highway&#8221; <\/b><b>is intended to integrate PV<\/b><b>\u00a0power generation technology<\/b><b>\u00a0with<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><b>the <\/b><b>highway system,<\/b><b>\u00a0to use the<\/b><b>\u00a0highways, shoulders, ramps, isolation zones and other own space <\/b><b>in<\/b>\u00a0<b>the highway system<\/b><b>, as well as <\/b><b>the space of <\/b><b>building roofs, parking sheds, walls and other facilities<\/b><b>\u00a0in service area<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><b>for <\/b><b>arrangement<\/b><b>\u00a0and<\/b><b>\u00a0installation of <\/b><b>PV<\/b><b>\u00a0power generation system<\/b><b>.
