OCEAN CITY, N.J., Aug. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Destination Destiny and Memorial Reefs come together to create an experience you will always remember. On September 25, 2020 Memorial Reefs International and Destination Destiny will dedicate their very first Memorial Reefs in the United States in Ocean City, New Jersey. This location comes after a significant demand from residents of the east coast of the United States. The partnership with Steelmantown Cemetery through Destination Destiny brings Memorial Reefs International to New Jersey, where many families seek greener funeral options.

This event is open to anyone who has the cremated remains of a loved one that they wish to inter at our New Jersey location. The New Jersey event also marks the inaugural date upon which individuals can purchase a Now and Later Memorial Reef. This option allows any living person to dedicate a Memorial Reef now in order to begin their contribution to restoring marine life. When their time comes, a second Memorial Reef will be created in the second Undersea Memorial Garden location of your choice.

Many events in our lives are shifting to make safety your priority. But what happens to funerals, a celebration that can bring the most peace out of sorrow? A memorial service can still be a beautiful experience for loved ones from the comfort and safety of their home. Memorial Reefs International and Destination Destiny value the health and safety of their clients, which has resulted in the completely remote dedication of the first Destination Destiny & Memorial Reefs International Undersea Memorial Garden. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, this event will be completely virtual. Families and friends can still witness the dedication.  Social distancing measures prevent meeting in person, but not the creation of a living memorial in a spectacular location.

The ceremony will still value the ways in which we respect and honor those who are being memorialized, just in a manner that puts the safety of their friends and families first. The ceremony will be recorded for viewing at the Undersea Memorial Gardens located ten miles off shore of Ocean City, New Jersey. Registration ends August 25, 2020 for this dedication event, so contact Memorial Reefs International and Destination Destiny immediately for more information and booking details.

The mission at Memorial Reefs International is rehabilitation and protection of the worlds ocean ecosystems through the development and use of ecologically sound artificial reef technology. The concrete used for a Memorial Reef has a pH balance that matches the ocean and the structure contains no rebar. This means a Memorial Reef will last hundreds of years, serving as a home for an abundance of marine life. Memorial Reefs give your family the opportunity to gather around and connect in a marine paradise through a living memorial.  Register today to dedicate a Memorial Reef on September 25, 2020.

Partnership with veteran owned and operated Connective Human brings awareness to organization’s mission of helping build communities

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Aug. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ – Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (CSE: TRUL) & (OTCQX: TCNNF) («Trulieve» or «the Company»), a United States-based leading medical cannabis company, announced today a new partner for their TruVet Program, a monthly program that highlights the many resources available to veterans through local and statewide organizations. Trulieve is working with Connective Human, a veteran owned and operated organization based in Central Florida, throughout the month of August.

The TruVet Program was launched this year with a goal of educating veterans on the accessibility, benefits, and uses of medicinal cannabis. Sponsored outreach programs include veteran non-profits across the nation which offer financial support, educational seminars, product explanation, and connection with local doctors in the area.

For August, Trulieve has partnered with Connective Human, whose core purpose is to connect corporations to nonprofits who encourage change in their communities. The organization hosts custom team building and wellness programs, allowing corporations to collaborate on community initiatives that solve real needs while instilling a connective and inclusive culture.

«A big part of our story is to create and encourage change in our communities, to connect with others and give businesses and nonprofits in our areas the opportunity to grow together. When veterans come back, they often struggle with reintegration; as a veteran myself, I understand how important it is to work with organizations that not only care about the community, but care about and understand the specific needs of veterans,» said Connective Human President and Founder, Beau Blouin. «Trulieve matches our mission of connecting with communities and working to encourage diversity and inclusion by offering information and resources. We’re honored to partner with them this month and look forward to further connecting with Florida’s veteran community.»

Currently, veterans are eligible for an in-store discount on Trulieve products. Trulieve also has long-standing partnerships with local veteran organizations throughout the state and encourages patients to inquire about resources at their local dispensary or on our TruVets webpage.

Trulieve also operates a TruVet Facebook Group, which functions as a resource and support group. Created for veterans, as well as their dependents or caregivers, the group helps those seeking further education in the cannabis community and support from fellow veterans.

«More than ever, we’re focused on connecting with the communities we call home and sharing the resources available to people across the state. Trulieve’s core values include embracing diversity, supporting social equity, and encouraging inclusivity, and aligning with partners like Connective Human supports these values we aim to embody daily,» said Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers. «Compassionate care is at our core, and we’re honored to work with Connective Human to continue making that possible across the state.»

As the state’s leading medical cannabis provider, Trulieve’s employees are experienced, knowledgeable, and eager to help patients. Trulieve encourages potential patients, as well as patients who are new to cannabis and our wide array of products, to connect with the staff in-store or through the online chat feature to learn more.

In stores and online, patients will find Florida’s largest selection of THC and CBD products, available in a variety of delivery methods, including smokable cannabis, concentrates, tinctures, topical creams, vaporizers, and more. Trulieve also offers home delivery statewide for patients, and convenient in-store pick-up at its 51 dispensaries in locations across the state from Pensacola to Key West.

The Office of Medical Marijuana Use recently announced the registry had surpassed 385,000 registered medical marijuana patients with an active ID card, with Trulieve consistently selling approximately half of the state’s overall volume, per the Florida Department of Health. There are more than 2,500 registered ordering physicians in the State of Florida as well.

Integration of operational technology with information technology will continue to influence the dynamics of this market

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Frost & Sullivan’s recent analysis, Global Building Automation Systems (BAS) Market, Forecast to 2026, reveals that energy-efficiency requisites, energy conservation and favorable government initiatives, rising energy prices, and strict building codes are prominent factors driving the global BAS market. The market is estimated to reach $5.91 billion by 2026 from $4.69 billion in 2019, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.4%. However, the market will be restrained by the COVID-19 pandemic in the short term, as some construction projects commissioned by companies and/or governments face delays or cancellations.

For further information on this analysis, please visit: http://frost.ly/4be

«Buildings, infrastructure, and energy will remain the core investment areas for smart city development, which is further expected to drive the demand for advanced and efficient BAS systems,» said Neha Tatikota, Energy and Environment Research Analyst at Frost & Sullivan. «Additionally, partnerships and collaborations are becoming increasingly important, as suppliers of all sizes seek to offer a comprehensive, end-to-end market segment solution.»

Tatikota added, «Integration of operational technology (OT) control network with information technology (IT) will continue to change the dynamics of the BAS market because this will reduce operating and infrastructure costs and improve the financial optimization of buildings. Further, the adoption of deep learning and machine learning (ML) algorithms for developing voice-over technology and advanced features will be crucial innovation areas for next-generation BAS solutions.»

Leveraging the potential of the mixing and matching of BAS products to make them more versatile, compact, and innovative will present tremendous growth opportunities for market participants in:

  • Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled solutions: Emerging IoT-enabled building automation suppliers need to partner with reputed and reliable system integrators for higher penetration into geographies and to expand their customer base.
  • Intelligent Platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions: Market participants should focus on customer friendliness and flexible business models to build automation services via platform-based solutions.
  • Innovation scouting: The most dynamic innovation areas in the BAS space are Big Data, IoT, cloud, AI, and ML algorithms. Companies should scout for such innovative solutions (for partnership, collaboration, or acquisition), especially in the start-up community.
  • Integration of product lines: Product integration is another critical growth opportunity that needs to be leveraged to its full potential to introduce efficient products in the market.

Global Building Automation Systems (BAS) Market, Forecast to 2026 is the latest addition to Frost & Sullivan’s Energy and Environment research and analyses available through the Frost & Sullivan Leadership Council, which helps organizations identify a continuous flow of growth opportunities to succeed in an unpredictable future.

FRISCO, Texas, Aug. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Leading Frisco, Texas RE/MAX DFW Associates real estate agent Terry Hendricks announced today the launch of a new turnkey home renovation program for local homeowners, with renovation costs not due until closing. In the current real estate market, home renovations offer up to 200% return-on-investment (ROI) for homeowners.

Frisco area homes renovated to meet the needs of today’s buyers, who are searching for modern and contemporary design standards, sell for thousands more with very few days on market. For home sellers without the budget or experience to update their home before placing it on the market, Hendricks now offers turnkey renovation project planning, management, and funding, with costs not due until the home is sold.

«As an industry-leading realtor in the Frisco market, I understand what buyers are looking for. Owners who invest in pre-sale renovations that meet the expectations of buyers earn thousands more and sell much quicker than others on the market,» said Terry Hendricks, RE/MAX DFW Associates. «In our current economic climate, however, the cost of renovating a home before it’s sold is out of budget for many. WASHINGTON, Aug. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Censeo Consulting Group, a Washington D.C.-based public sector management consulting firm, has announced the launch of a COVID-19 resource library to provide meaningful resources to prepare public sector leaders to rapidly adjust and sustain mission delivery in the face of uncertainty.

«This has been a time of unprecedented stress for our society – words like ‘Phase I’ or ‘Phase II» barely scratch the surface in terms of capturing the challenges people and their governments have faced, successfully overcome and continue to struggle with. And data from around the world suggests that even with a vaccine, this ‘new normal’ is something we will all have to live with for a while,» said Dr. Vinai Trichur, Managing Partner at Censeo and leader of the COVID-19 response team. «Through this set of resources, we wanted to provide a practical toolkit for public sector leaders as they prepare to navigate the uncertainty of the coming months.»

Leveraging the firm’s deep experience supporting public sector agencies in augmenting their organizational strategy, operational excellence, workforce effectiveness, and acquisition capabilities, Censeo’s study of public sector pandemic response across multiple countries facilitates best practice transfer among agencies at the federal, state, local, and international levels to inform strategic planning for current and potential crises. The study addresses three topics top-of-mind for leaders: 1) Creatively developing capacity in order to deliver evolving mission responsibilities, while adapting to changing workloads; 2) Managing change, including modifications to workforce, processes, and technology and to meet changing talent needs as workloads have evolved; and 3) Implementing effective telework procedures, recognizing that telework at scale is an untested challenge for many and may require developing workforce-wide trainings, near-term workarounds, long-term strategic planning, and acceleration of IT-modernization efforts.

In addition, Censeo’s pandemic preparedness toolkit includes a comprehensive organizational diagnostic to help agencies assess their resiliency to future resurgences in COVID-19 and other crises, an employee survey template to help assess remote work conditions and comfort levels with policies and procedures for returning to assigned work locations, and a series of analytical reports leveraging insights from federal spend data to inform funding decisions by agency leaders and policy makers on COVID-19 relief and response efforts.

Kumbaya App Unveils Pod Supporter Program to Help Families Transition Kids To Distance Learning

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — The Kumbaya App, a marketplace for parents to hire trusted teens for paid gigs, today debuted its Pod Supporter Program to provide help to families transitioning to distance learning during the 2020-2021 school year. The Pod Supporter Program offers teens the opportunity to become in-person pod supporters while helping kids in elementary school, especially K-2, adapt to virtual and distance learning while earning hundreds to thousands of dollars per month.

In July 2020, the United States surpassed four million coronavirus cases, according to the COVID Tracking Project. However, data on COVID-19 transmission among children is still limited, and the CDC highlights that more research is needed on transmission from children to household members in the U.S. as they urge schools and families to adapt to new safety guidelines. As such, the CDC is suggesting podding (sometimes called cohorting) for students and staff to remain together while social distancing, with limited mixing between groups. Through the app, parents who are planning to implement podding can now get additional in-person support from trusted teens in their community through the Kumbaya App.

«As soon as school pod discussions started, we received many calls and messages about having teen gigsters support parents through these unprecedented times as their families adapt to new school procedures,» said Chen Levanon, the Kumbaya App’s CEO and co-founder. «We are proud to address their needs through our app and offer our new Pod Supporter Program as a solution to help solve the U.S. childcare and education crisis caused by the pandemic.»

«No one should feel hopeless,» added Dr. Adi Zief-Balteriski, chief behavioral officer and co-founder of the Kumbaya App. «Parents who want help with childcare or podding should be empowered to get it, and any teen who can work and wants to work should be able to find a job even during this pandemic. The Kumbaya App aims to solve both problems by connecting parents and teens to help each other.»

Parents in the U.S. typically spend $2,000 a year on additional child care, which will be difficult for many families to afford this year due to the unprecedented job loss caused by COVID-19. The Kumbaya App’s Pod Supporter Program puts parents in contact with trusted teens who can support their kids as they engage in virtual lessons and complete their homework throughout this unique school year. Both pod families and pod supporters will sign a COVID-19 waiver to engage in care services through the app.

For teens interested in becoming pod supporters, visit https://www.mykumbaya.com/pod-supporter. For parents looking for pod support, send an email to contactus@mykumbaya.com.

GENEVA, Ohio, Aug. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — An immersive training experience called 44 Hour HS Intensive Weekend program is the most recent addition to SPIRE Institute and Academy’s line-up of innovative programs for high school students.

According to SPIRE’s Chief Operating Office Jeff Orloff, a weekend session focusing on each sport–swimming, track and field, basketball, esports or drone racing– will be offered once a month during the 2020-21 school year, giving high school student athletes whose sports programs have been suspended or cancelled the opportunity to train in their sport, work out athletically, and stay mentally sharp under the tutelage of the SPIRE staff.

«44 HS Hour Intensive Weekend will give these young athletes the chance to develop skills and technique specific to their sports based on their individual needs,» said Orloff. «SPIRE has an experienced staff of performance development experts and mental skills training specialists who will work directly with these student athletes and set up internal competition as appropriate.»

Student athletes will arrive by 5 PM on Friday evening, and depart by 1 PM on Sunday. Six meals are provided, and participants reside on campus in the Academy’s new Village Residence Housing under the supervision of SPIRE’s house parents. Tuition is $395 per student for room, board and all training activity. Training will consist of four sessions for a total of 10 hours over the weekend.

Note: HS athletes attending this SPIRE weekend program are responsible for making sure that their participation does not negatively impact their high school eligibility back home.
