MERIDIAN, Miss., Feb. 12, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — The Honda vehicle class of 2021 is very well represented at the Meridian Honda showroom. Two of the automaker’s crossover SUVs are in a particularly strong position when placed against some rivals. For the current model year, the 2021 Honda Pilot is able to offer competitive performance specs and more interior space than one of its top rivals and the 2021 Honda Passport is able to overwhelm one of its opponents in several areas that are important to crossover SUV buyers. Both Honda vehicles are currently available at the dealership’s facility, and Meridian Honda product experts are excited to help existing and new customers make this very difficult decision.

Meridian Honda visitors that need a powerful vehicle and plenty of interior space will want to schedule a test drive with the 2021 Honda Pilot today. The three-row crossover SUV is available in seven trim grades, LX, EX, EX-L, Special Edition, Touring, Elite and Black Edition. All of them are equipped with a 3.5-liter, V-6 engine that will make 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. This is well within the class average and very close to what one specific rival will produce with its lone engine option.

Additionally, the 2021 Pilot is able to offer enough seating space to be able to hold up to eight people, the competing crossover SUV will only hold seven. The base LX version of the 2021 Pilot with two-wheel-drive will have up to 83.9 cubic-feet of cargo volume to offer, more than eclipsing the maximum of 79.5 cubic-feet available with the other model.

There might not be a more competitive crossover SUV segment than the one that contains two-row models, like the 2021 Honda Passport. Even though the Passport is still a relative newcomer, its standard V-6 engine will make 280 horsepower, nearly 80 horsepower more than the only engine platform offered by the opponent being referred to today. In terms of towing, the 2021 Passport Sport with front-wheel-drive can pull 3,500 pounds. A similarly outfitted version of the rival model will only be able to tow 1,500 pounds.

Anyone can view the entire Meridian Honda inventory at any time when they visit the dealership’s website, http://www.meridianhonda.com. The showroom is located at 503 Front Street Ext. Meridian, MS 39301. Customers can start the pre-ordering process for either Honda crossover SUV today by calling, 601-693-4651.
