LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Cinq Music, the technology-driven record label, distribution and rights management company, is dropping singer/songwriter sensation Ivonne Galaz’s new album titled, “Voy En Camino” (I’m On My Way) via L.A.- based label Rancho Humilde. Last year, Galaz became Rancho Humilde’s first female artist, joining a superstar roster of revolutionary artists including Cano, Junior H and Ovi. This is Galaz’s first full length album.

“I want to thank Jimmy Humilde, the man who believed in me since the beginning,” says Galaz, who turns 18 this year and hails from Sonora, Mexico. “My label-mates are already like family.” For “Voy En Camino,” Galaz sings most of the songs solo, except for one track featuring artist Abraham Vazquez.

Galaz’s passion for telling raw, authentic stories shines through on her latest release, representing an alternative voice in the often male-dominated urban Mexican genre. Shortly after her introduction to the regional-trap fusion (see Natanael Cano’s El de La Codeina),” Galaz met the aforementioned Rancho Humilde CEO Humilde, who two years ago gave her the opportunity to record with Cano the first song she ever wrote, “Golpes De La Vida.” It was included on the artist’s 2019 EP, “Mi Nuevo Yo.” The explosive single officially launched Galaz’s career, emphatically announcing her entry into the regional urban scene, and has since become her most streamed video on YouTube, garnering over 2.1 million views.

On the social side, Galaz is quickly emerging as an extraordinary role model for young women around the world, boldly challenging and shattering stereotypes in regional urban music through her signature voice, honest lyrics and authentic fashion sense. She is also a tremendous defender of women’s rights, recently demonstrating her dedication to the fight against femicide when she released a stunning tribute to Vanessa Guillén, the U.S. Army soldier who was slain by a male soldier last year.

Honeywell strongly supports President Biden’s call for business action in the fight against COVID-19 by promoting the use of masks, practicing social distancing and urging people to get the vaccine when it’s their turn.

Honeywell, Atrium Health, Tepper Sports & Entertainment and Charlotte Motor Speedway formed a public-private partnership in coordination with North Carolina Gov. Based on learnings from these events, Honeywell and our partners have developed and distributed a leader guide for mass vaccination events to the Biden Administration and the governors of all U.S. states and territories.

Honeywell has also donated more than 1 million masks to frontline workers and homeless shelters in the U.S. and established a small business innovation fund that has disbursed $3.6 million to date to help Charlotte, N.C., storefront enterprises cope with the effects of the pandemic. We are also caring for our employees with financial assistance, enhanced health care benefits, and “thank you” payments to our direct manufacturing employees.

There is no greater priority for America right now than addressing this crisis by keeping our citizens safe, vaccinating our population in a fast and equitable manner, and positioning the economy for a strong recovery.

LONDON, Feb. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Concrete plays a fundamental role in the world around us and in our daily lives. It supports our communities, keeps us connected, and provides our homes, key infrastructure and the cities around us. The Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) is celebrating concrete, the most used human-made material on our planet, with the release of the winning pictures from its ‘Concrete in Life 2020’ global photography competition.

These stunning photos from both professional and amateur photographers capture what concrete means to people around the world – from urban scenes to playparks, from beautiful architecture to essential transport networks, and from the modern wonders we can see to the hidden infrastructure often out of sight. More than 10,000 pictures were submitted to the competition by people across the world, covering three categories (Concrete Infrastructure, Urban Concrete, and Concrete in Daily Life) with the entries demonstrating the widespread, diverse and sustainable use of concrete across the globe.

The competition ran from October to December 2020. The overall winner scoops the top prize of $10,000, with each of the category winners receiving $2,500. In addition to the six winners, the competition judges selected a shortlist which is viewable on the GCCA website. A film about the competition is available here.

Judging the competition were: Gabriele Galimberti, National Geographic photographer; John Fairley, Photographer and Creative Director of Curious Productions; Gian Luca Barone, Senior Associate at Zaha Hadid Architects; Dinah McLeod, Chief Executive of the GCCA.

Dinah McLeod said: “The pictures truly capture the wide range of ways in which concrete plays a fundamental role in life. We were delighted and overwhelmed by the stunning quality and number of photos that we received from just about every corner of the world – a huge thank you to all entrants. We were hugely impressed with their ability to depict how concrete has been continuing to support our lives even in these difficult times.”

I am amazed at the quality of entries this year in capturing the beauty of this everyday material that often goes unnoticed.”

Gian Luca Barone, Senior Associate at Zaha Hadid Architects said: “Concrete plays a fundamental role in our built environment, enabling us to design with near unlimited versatility. It’s fantastic to see how people have captured how concrete can be both beautiful and essential at the same time.”
