The purpose of using the dewatering vibrating screen is to separate the solid and liquid. In normal condition, the separated solids and liquid will be further treated or used for other application directly. Thus the drier the slag discharged from the vibrating screen, the more liquid will be recovered. In order to increase the recovery efficiency of the liquid, GN developed the vacuum vibrating screen that is a combination of vibrating screen and vacuum unit. By installing a collecting hopper under the last screen of the machine and connecting it to vacuum device to form a certain frequency of vacuum suction on the screen surface with pulsating airflow, the vacuum vibrating screen achieves double separation by vibration and vacuum suction. It increases the recovery efficiency of liquid and reduces the liquid content on discharged solids.

Typical Application of GN Vacuum Vibrating Screen
GN vacuum vibrating screen is often used for drilling mud dewatering. In the drilling industry, the vibrating screen is also called shale shaker. It is used to remove the cuttings in drilling mud to make the mud reusable. The vacuum vibrating screen can greatly increase mud recovery and reduce drilling waste discharge, which is cost saving for driller and environmental friendly operation.

Easy and Delicious Cacio e Pepe Pasta Recipe From Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese

Ingredients:

12 oz. of tonnarelli or spaghetti
1 tbs. of olive oil
5.5 oz pecorino cheese (Aged 18 months)
3.5 tbsp. parmesan (Aged 30 months)
3.5 tbsp. pecorino (Aged 24 months)
Salt to taste
Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Directions:
1/ Bring 12 cups of water to a boil in a pot. Season with salt.
2/ Add tonnarelli to the pot and stir occasionally for 1 minute for fresh pasta and 2 minutes for dry pasta.
3/ Meanwhile, combine grated pecorino cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, and ½ cup of the boiling water in a heavy skillet over medium heat, creating a cream. Grind black pepper to taste.
4/ Once the pasta is fully cooked, drain it in a strainer and add it to the skillet. Mix the pasta with the cream sauce. Add more black pepper or olive oil to achieve a lighter consistency.
5/ Finally, finish the dish with pecorino 24-month aged Pecorino.

Conshohocken Mayor Yaniv Aronson Announces Re-election Run in 2021

Working with the state, PennDOT and using resources within the borough, we have new traffic lights and pedestrian crossings at 1st, 3rd, 9th and 11th Avenues along Fayette, the West 6th Avenue stop sign was made permanent, and the 300 and 400 blocks of West 6th were narrowed and realigned with new road markings. Additionally, new lighted pedestrian signal crossings are coming at 4th and 7th Avenues along Fayette.»

The county and SEPTA have also been a source of major pedestrian improvements within the borough. «We have seen safety upgrades along the trail with new signage, paving, line-painting and lighting at road crossings. The crossings along SEPTA’s tracks were also painted bright yellow for increased visibility. The Schuylkill River Trail is of particular importance to me. It is where I met my wife, Sarah, and I even proposed to her there!»

Aronson hopes to bring more pedestrian safety improvements to Conshohocken, whether through borough services, the county or the state.

As a major second priority, Aronson has worked to bring a spirit of service and volunteerism to Conshohocken. «I decided to run for mayor three years ago because I was involved with our local nonprofits,» he said. «I wanted to do more for the community and on a larger scale.»

In 2019, Yaniv and Sarah started Destination Conshohocken, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to local causes. «We have a wonderful team of volunteers who have helped us provide everything from the Annual Conshohocken Arts Festival and Car Show, clothing and food drives, as well as virtual events during the pandemic for the community.»

Providing mental health resources for residents has also been a major initiative. Sarah Aronson organizes yearly panel discussions for suicide awareness and prevention. The first included members of the business community, the Conshohocken Police Force, local teachers and experts in the field. Sarah also provides quarterly suicide loss survivor support groups and QPR suicide prevention trainings, while working with local organizations such as the Peyton Heart Project and the Montgomery County Suicide Prevention Taskforce to help include as many residents as possible. «The idea is to make suicide a subject that we can talk about as friends and neighbors, and I believe Conshohocken is now a regional and county leader for these conversations and related programming,» said Sarah Aronson.

The environment has been another area of tremendous progress thanks to collaboration with borough council, residents and borough administration. «We now have full-sized recycling bins which helps encourage the community to recycle. We updated our recycling graphic to make it easier to read and the Shade Tree Team planted more than 40 trees in 2019, with plans for more in 2020 before the pandemic hit,» added Yaniv Aronson.

Additionally, the borough runs classes about the lanternfly invasion and provides resources for helping residents manage these pests. Perhaps the most important development of all is the passage of the «Ready for 100%» resolution by council, setting Conshohocken on a path toward energy sustainability by 2035.» Again, we see Conshohocken as a leader in this critical work. I hope to continue working on environmental issues, and solutions, for residents.»

Most recently, Aronson started the «Conshy Strong» initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic to help bring together the community, residents, businesses and nonprofits, as well as support Conshohocken’s local food pantry, Colonial Neighborhood Council.

BRUSSELS, 28 January 2021 /PRNewswire Policy/ — Following a review under the recommendation on the gradual lifting of the temporary restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU, the Council updated the list of countries for which travel restrictions should be lifted. As stipulated in the Council recommendation, this list will continue to be reviewed every two weeks and, as the case may be, updated.

Based on the criteria and conditions set out in the recommendation, as from 28 January member states should gradually lift the travel restrictions at the external borders for residents of the following third countries:

Australia

New Zealand

Rwanda

Singapore

South Korea

Thailand

China, subject to confirmation of reciprocity

Travel restrictions should also be gradually lifted for the special administrative regions of China Hong Kong and Macao, subject to confirmation of reciprocity.

Residents of Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican should be considered as EU residents for the purpose of this recommendation.

The criteria to determine the third countries for which the current travel restriction should be lifted cover in particular the epidemiological situation and containment measures, including physical distancing, as well as economic and social considerations. They are applied cumulatively. Reciprocity should also be taken into account regularly and on a case-by-case basis.

Schengen associated countries (Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway, Switzerland) also take part in this recommendation.

Background

On 16 March 2020, the Commission adopted a communication recommending a temporary restriction of all non-essential travel from third countries into the EU for one month. EU heads of state or government agreed to implement this restriction on 17 March. The travel restriction was extended for a further month respectively on 8 April 2020 and 8 May 2020.

On 11 June the Commission adopted a communication recommending the further extension of the restriction until 30 June 2020 and setting out an approach for a gradual lifting of the restriction on non-essential travel into the EU as of 1 July 2020.

On 30 June the Council adopted a recommendation on the gradual lifting of the temporary restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU, including an initial list of countries for which member states should start lifting the travel restrictions at the external borders. The list is reviewed every two weeks and, as the case may be, updated.

The Council recommendation is not a legally binding instrument. The authorities of the member states remain responsible for implementing the content of the recommendation. They may, in full transparency, lift only progressively travel restrictions towards countries listed.

A Member State should not decide to lift the travel restrictions for non-listed third countries before this has been decided in a coordinated manner.

ONUSIDA pide la liberación de cinco trabajadores humanitarios detenidos en Venezuela

NUEVA YORK, 29 January 2021 /PRNewswire Policy/ — El Programa Conjunto de las Naciones Unidas sobre el VIH/SIDA llamó este viernes a las autoridades venezolanas a que liberen a cinco trabajadores humanitarios de la organización no gubernamental Azul Positivo arrestados a mediados de enero.

ONUSIDA manifestó su preocupación por la detención de Johán León Reyes, Yordy Bermúdez, Layners Gutiérrez Díaz, Alejandro Gómez Di Maggio y Luis Ferrebuz el pasado 12 de enero.

La directora ejecutiva del Programa, Winnie Byanyima, llamó “a las autoridades venezolanas a que liberen de la custodia policial a los cinco trabajadores humanitarios que trabajan para la organización no gubernamental Azul Positivo y que devuelvan el equipo esencial incautado en el momento de su arresto”.

La oenegé Azul Positivo se fundó en 2004 con el objetivo de trabajar en la prevención del VIH en el estado venezolano de Zulia, situado al noroeste del país. ONUSIDA ha apoyado el trabajo de la organización durante muchos años y ha presenciado el impacto positivo de sus contribuciones en la comunidad.

“Una sociedad civil fuerte y empoderada juega un papel esencial en la prestación de servicios a los más necesitados; y es fundamental para una efectiva respuesta al VIH y otros retos en materia de salud en Venezuela”, recordó Byanyima.

Evaluación del impacto de las sanciones unilaterales en Venezuela

Por otro lado, la relatora especial de la ONU sobre medidas coercitivas unilaterales y derechos humanos, la bielorrusa Alena Douhan, visitará Venezuela del 1 al 12 de febrero con el objetivo de evaluar el impacto de las sanciones unilaterales en el disfrute de las garantías fundamentales.

Douhan manifestó su voluntad de averiguar, mediante la cooperación y el diálogo, “si la adopción, el mantenimiento o la aplicación de sanciones obstaculiza la plena realización de los derechos humanos y en qué medida».

A la vez, se centrará especialmente «en cualquier impacto negativo que las sanciones puedan tener en el disfrute de todos los derechos humanos en Venezuela» y formulará recomendaciones “sobre cómo se puede mitigar o eliminar cualquier efecto negativo».

Durante su estancia en Venezuela, Douhan planea reunirse con altos funcionarios del gobierno, miembros del parlamento y del poder judicial, representantes de organizaciones internacionales, la comunidad diplomática, la sociedad civil, la oposición y el mecanismo nacional de derechos humanos, abogados, académicos, activistas, víctimas y sus familiares.

Al final de su visita compartirá sus observaciones preliminares en una conferencia de prensa el 12 de febrero y presentará su informe final al Consejo de Derechos Humanos de la ONU el mes de septiembre.

El Consejo estableció el mandato de este relator en septiembre de 2014, tras la preocupación del sistema de derechos humanos de la ONU y de la comunidad internacional por el impacto negativo de las sanciones unilaterales en las garantías fundamentales de la población civil.

Esta situación se ha vuelto aún más relevante durante la pandemia de COVID-19.

NUEVA YORK, 29 January 2021 / PRN Africa / — La violencia y la inseguridad tras las elecciones celebradas el pasado 27 de diciembre en la República Centroafricana han forzado a más de 200.000 personas a huir de sus hogares en menos de dos meses, según informó este viernes la Agencia de la ONU para los Refugiados (ACNUR), que advirtió que decenas de miles de personas se enfrentan a unas condiciones de vida terribles.

Más de la mitad de estas personas se ha desplazado dentro del país, otras 92.000 huyeron a la República Democrática del Congo y más de 13.200 se reparten entre Camerún, Chad y la República del Congo.

Durante su encuentro con los medios de comunicación en Ginebra, el portavoz de la Agencia, Boris Cheshirkov, dijo que la continua inseguridad dificulta la respuesta humanitaria haciendo más complicado el acceso a las personas desplazadas dentro de la República Centroafricana.

Cheshirkov explicó que, aparte de la inestabilidad, hay que añadir otros elementos como el cierre de la principal carretera usada para transportar suministros.

«Se nos ha informado de la presencia de grupos armados en las localidades de Batangafo y Bria donde se refugian las comunidades desplazadas, lo que supone una violación del carácter humanitario y civil de esos lugares», destacó el vocero.

El portavoz añadió que la presencia de estos elementos implica “un grave riesgo” para los desplazados, como la posibilidad de ser reclutados forzosamente, la restricción de movimientos, la extorsión o ser víctimas de amenazas.

Cruzar la frontera para salvar la vida en condiciones precarias

Los centroafricanos que consiguieron llegar a la República Democrática del Congo cruzaron los ríos Ubangi, Mbomou y Uele, que forman una frontera natural entre los dos países, y se instalaron en unas 40 localidades de las provincias de Ubangi del Norte, Ubangi del Sur y Bajo Uele.

Muchos de ellos viven en condiciones extremas en zonas remotas y de difícil acceso, cerca de las arterias fluviales, sin un refugio básico y enfrentándose a una grave escasez de alimentos.

Los refugiados dependen de la pesca y de las aportaciones de las poblaciones locales, que ya de por sí cuentan con recursos extremadamente limitados.

«Para muchos, el río es también la única fuente de agua para beber, lavarse y cocinar. El paludismo, las infecciones respiratorias y la diarrea se han convertido en comunes entre los refugiados», destacó.

Los socios humanitarios sobre el terreno proveen atención médica a los pacientes y distribuyen medicamentos en medio de las crecientes necesidades. Además, las enormes distancias y el pésimo estado de las carreteras provocan un retraso en reparto de la ayuda de emergencia.

El plan de respuesta humanitaria no recibe fondos suficientes

«ACNUR está almacenando suministros de emergencia en Yakoma, en la provincia de Ubangi del Norte, antes de la llegada la temporada de lluvias, prevista para dentro de seis semanas, cuando se prevé que vastas zonas estarán inaccesibles y el único medio de transporte serán los costosos envíos aéreos”, apuntó.

El llamamiento humanitario de este 2021 para responder a la situación en la República Centroafricana es de 151,5 millones de dólares de los que hasta el momento solo se ha conseguido recaudar un 2%.
