All-terrain Vehicle Market by Type & Application, Drive, Engine, Fuel, Wheel Number, Seating Capacity, and Region – Global Forecast to 2025

DUBLIN, Jan. 27, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — The «All-terrain Vehicle Market by Type & Application (Sport, Entertainment, Agriculture, Military & Defense), Drive (2WD, 4WD, AWD), Engine (&lessThan;400, 400-800, >800cc), Fuel (Gasoline, Electric), Wheel Number, Seating Capacity, and Region – Global Forecast to 2025» report has been added to ResearchAndMarkets.com’s offering.

Research and Markets Logo

The all-terrain vehicle market, by value, is projected to grow to USD 4.4 billion by 2025 from USD 3.9 billion in 2020, at a CAGR of 2.4% during the forecast period.

The rising demand for ATVs in recreational activities, mainly worldwide championships, will boost the future growth of the all-terrain vehicle market.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a low impact on the North America and Asia Oceania all-terrain vehicle market. European countries and the RoW region were significantly impacted by COVID-19 and underwent lockdowns, therefore, powersports and recreational activities were stopped. Also, a majority of the ATV manufacturing companies in Europe reported steep decrease in revenues. However, with the resumption of a few power sports and entertainment activities in the coming months, the market is expected to grow in future.

More than four wheels ATVs to be the fastest growing segment in All-terrain vehicle, by number of wheels

More than four wheeled ATVs is projected to be the fastest growing market in the all-terrain vehicle market by 2025. OEMs are planning to be more customer-centric in terms of its manufacturing processes. The growing number of ATV buyers are looking for more than 4-wheel ATVs, especially in military and agricultural applications. Thus, OEMs, component manufacturers, and material providers are jointly working to develop more than 4 wheeled ATVs with better design, performance, and efficiency. Hence, more than four wheeled ATVs is projected to be the fastest growing all-terrain vehicle market.

Utility ATV is the largest segment in All-terrain vehicle market, by type

Utility ATVs are estimated to hold the largest share of the all-terrain vehicle market, by type. Utility ATVs are multipurpose and can be used in different applications such as military, agriculture, construction, forestry, etc. Thus, these vehicles offer lucrative opportunities for all-terrain vehicle manufacturers. In addition, the increasing demand for ATVs in agriculture and military & defense applications in Asia Pacific and North America would further drive the utility all-terrain vehicle market.

North America is estimated to be the largest market for all-terrain vehicles

The North American all-terrain vehicle industry is one of the most advanced industries in the world. Market growth in the North American region is driven by the dominating ATV market in the US and Canada. In recent years, the region has seen the highest ATV manufacturing growth. The US and Canada together accounted for around 96.2% of the total all-terrain vehicle production in the region in 2019. The Canadian all-terrain vehicle industry is a major contributor to the country’s economy and provides employment for over half a million people. The country has signed a free trade agreement with its neighbors to strengthen the automotive industry. Technological developments in the US have also impacted the Canadian market and boosted the demand for all-terrain vehicles in the country. Polaris Industries (US), Textron (US), and BRP (Canada) are the leading ATV players in the region. According to analysis, the US will continue to drive the growth of the all-terrain vehicle market. This trend of the all-terrain vehicle market in North America is expected to remain the same in the near future.

Global Power Tool Market to Quickly Recover from 2020’s Pandemic-Induced Shortfalls

CLEVELAND, Jan. 27, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — The COVID-19 pandemic wrought a net negative effect on the global power tool market in 2020, with a 3.2% sales decline recorded as construction and manufacturing activity ground to a halt and professional demand for power tools shrank:

CLEVELAND, Jan. 27, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — The COVID-19 pandemic wrought a net negative effect on the global power tool market in 2020, with a 3.2% sales decline recorded as construction and manufacturing activity ground to a halt and professional demand for power tools shrank:

  • DIY home improvement trends in the much smaller consumer market did provide a bright spot for power tool suppliers in the last tumultuous year.
  • Looking ahead, however, sales growth in the consumer market is expected to underperform the professional market due to the concentration of consumer sales in mature, high-income markets, like the US and much of Western Europe.

As global construction and manufacturing industries renormalize, demand is expected to recover quickly in 2021 and beyond, growing to $38 billion in 2024. Global Power Tools, now available from the Freedonia Group, provides in-depth analysis of the key trends that will drive this growth.

Cordless Electric Products Continue to Lead Global Market Growth

Cordless electric tools significantly outperformed the market between 2009 and 2019 as battery technology improved. This trend is expected to continue through 2024, with cordless products accounting for 45% of all power tool sales growth.

In high-income nations, cordless products are already established in consumer markets, which are beginning to mature. However, slowing gains in these areas will be more than offset by rising penetration of cordless tools in professional markets, where greater performance requirements have delayed the adoption of this technology.

Going forward, cordless tools will increasingly be able to match plug-in tools for power while offering longer run times for intensive use, leading more professionals to choose these products.

Industrializing Nations to Post Above Average Gains

In the US and West Europe, growth in power tool sales volumes will be limited and demand gains will be largely attributable to pricing growth as professional users increasingly invest in advanced cordless products.

Stronger growth will occur in the Asia/Pacific region, with India and China representing the world’s two fastest growing national markets for power tools. In addition, industrializing Southeast Asian nations like Indonesia and the Philippines are expected to post rapid gains, driven by strong advances in building construction and manufacturing activity.

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 27, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — «I wanted to create a safe way to keep my rear truck window open while driving without the wind and rain getting in,» said an inventor, from Concrete, Wash., «so I invented the CANOPY-CAB SPACERS. My design protects truck and canopy interiors against the elements.»

The invention provides an effective way to seal the window space between a pickup cab and canopy. In doing so, it prevents rain and wind from entering through the back window. It also prevents canopy windows from fogging and it provides added protection, comfort and safety. The invention features a lightweight and weatherproof design that is easy to apply and use so it is ideal for the owners of pickup trucks. Additionally, it is producible in design variations and a prototype is available.

The original design was submitted to the Seattle sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers. AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 27, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — VAST Concerts & Events LLC announced today that they are moving forward with Go Wheels Up! Texas scheduled for May 29-30, 2021 at the San Marcos Regional Airport. The event, an air show, car show and concert hosted by Texas musician Cory Morrow was first held in 2019 but was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19.

«We’re all relieved and excited to get to do an event this year,» says Morrow. «We believe in giving San Marcos and Central Texas something to look forward to during these turbulent times. We just want to bring everyone together and celebrate what’s great about America and Texas. It’s going to be an incredible weekend and we hope everybody in the community comes out to see what we have, what San Marcos has.»

The air show will feature the United States Air Force F-16 Viper Demonstration Team, along with several performances by some of the top aerobatic pilots and skydivers in the nation. The car show will showcase hundreds of classic, exotic and unique automobiles from across the state and Cory Morrow himself will headline the entertainment lineup which will also feature other well-known local and regional performers.

«Of course, our central concern is the safety of our spectators, performers and staff,» says Go Wheels Up! Texas’ director of operations Clayton Corn when asked about the ongoing pandemic. «We will be monitoring all available information regarding public health and we will act in accordance with directives from city, county and state officials.»

Mayor of San Marcos, Jane Hughson, said, «I attended Go Wheels Up in 2019 and I thought it was fabulous! The air show, car show, and music certainly provided a full weekend of fun. I am encouraged to hear that planning of the event is moving forward with preventive measures included in case we’re still dealing with effects of COVID-19 and gatherings at the end of May.»

Clayton Corn continued, «We are moving forward under the assumption that the pressure on the healthcare system will ease by the end of May to a point that we all feel it’s appropriate to hold a large outdoor event. Should we need to incorporate social distancing and other precautions, we are certainly including that in our planning.»

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit area charities including the San Marcos Education Foundation, the Greater San Marcos Youth Council and the Commemorative Air Force Central Texas Wing.

Tickets for the event will go on sale February 8. Sponsorship, vendor and volunteer opportunities are also available. For more information, visit Go Wheels Up! Texas or email Info@gowheelsup.live
