Hit the road and in less than three hours’ visitors will find themselves in charming heritage towns full of delicious bounty. This is the small but mighty Canberra District. From sipping elegant wines to tasting fresh produce to unique cultural outings, get ready for a journey that will satisfy all senses.

DRINK
Though the Canberra District is a younger wine region — the first vines were planted in 1971 — it’s grown up fast, now offering more than 140 vineyards and 30 cellar doors. Make the first stop in the acclaimed winery hub of Murrumbateman. Book a tasting at the relaxed countryside cellar door at Clonakilla, whose shiraz viognier has been awarded Wine of the Year multiple times by Australia’s leading wine critics. Nearby at Helm Wines, order a wine and cheese plate with their acclaimed tasting experience, or visit the chic cellar door at Shaw Wines and sip their zesty signature riesling beside sweeping views of the hills. At Four Winds Vineyard, relax on sprawling lawns with wood-fired pizza and live music, and try the riesling gin, a happy transformation of the smoke-tainted grapes from the bushfires. In the preserved colonial village of Gundaroo, Gundog Estate Cork Street cellar door brings guests into its heritage former stables with a personalised tasting experience complemented with cheese and charcuterie.

EAT
The towns and villages in Canberra district are perfect for food lovers, featuring artisan producers, providores, cellar door restaurants and growers markets hawking local specialties like apples, nashi pears, olives, truffles and exotic mushrooms. Taste what’s in season at Smokehouse Restaurant at family-run Poachers Pantry. Here, meats are cured and smoked in-house, organic produce is grown in the kitchen garden and wines are made in the surrounding vineyards. Olleyville, at Shaw Wines, boasts a refined gastronomic experience with a four-course set menu; Westering at Lake George Winery offers decadent charcuterie boards to share in their rustic space next to the vines; and Grazing uses premium produce like saltwater barramundi and Black Angus beef served up in an 1830s former travellers’ inn. Spend a romantic night in Yazzbar, a cosy country wine bar showcasing the region’s finest food, wine and entertainment. And pick up road-trip snacks in-between wines at Clementine Bakery, where the sourdoughs, croissants and pastries often sell out.

PLAY
Foodies will love shopping in the Canberra District for gourmet souvenirs: buy bottles of mead, jars of honey, and hand-crafted beeswax candles at Win’s Creek Meadery; learn how to make Belgian chocolates at Robyn Rowe Chocolates; or buy fresh produce at the Murrumbateman Village Market. Get inspired at Suki & Hughes Gallery, showcasing modern Australian art with a focus on glass, ceramics, paintings and paper works. Or find a treasure to bring home at Village Antiques in the historic town of Bungendore. Adventure seekers can saddle up for a horseback ride through the Australian countryside with Burnelee Excursions on Horseback; or head to the pastoral town of Yass to try water sports at Burrinjuck Dam and explore Careys Cave, a spectacular limestone landscape with beautiful rock formations.

STAY
Rest your head in the heart of Canberra District wine country at Abode Murrumbateman, a stylish apartment hotel with generously equipped rooms, a modern guest lounge and free bicycle use. Or go for a more immersive experience and settle in at the Tallagandra Hill Cottages, nestled in the scenic grounds of a boutique family-owned winery in Gunderoo.

The keynote speaker, Rev. Dr C. A. Hunt, Senior Pastor, Epworth Chapel UMC, Baltimore, MD, Adjunct Professor at Wesley Theological Seminary said, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s singular vision was for the realization of the Beloved Community. Realizing King’s vision today beckons us to work to address the quadruple pandemics of COVID-19, racial upheaval, economic despair and political discord that continue to threaten humanity.

We will have the honor of having Sen Darius Brown, Delaware Senator follow up his quote, «The legacy and work of The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is a reminder that hope is not empirically demonstrated; it’s morally chosen,» with live discussion on the thought leadership panel, said Robert Alexander, CEO of 360WiSE MEDiA and President of the South Florida Miami SCLC «Southern Christian Leadership Conference».

«For those of us that seek progress and liberation, our social justice movement is similar to a military battle. It is ongoing. Once you win the war, you have to secure peace….until freedom.»

The Rev. Joe Archie, who happens to be the Wilmington District Superintendent of Peninsula Delaware Conference, stated, «It is the responsibility of all of us to live out the dream of Dr. King, to be committed to act in practical ways to bring justice to the poor, and to educate and empower people for this important work.»

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr is one of the Founders of the Historical Civil and Human Rights Organization. «How do we integrate positive protest and visible steps of action in this new world of biological, digital and clairvoyant racist overtones in 2021 and moving forward, are some of the ideas I would like to explore during the symposium,» said Robert Alexander.

Bishop Peggy Johnson of the Delaware and Eastern Pennsylvania United Methodist Conference said, «The heart of Christ is love and justice for all. This event points us once again to this truth and calls us to action!»

Rev Provey Powell, Senior Pastor Mt Joy UMC and Board Member Delaware State Board of Education whom will also join us on the panel said, «The prophetic voice of Dr. King endures and reverberates throughout all aspects of our contemporary society. The struggle for Educational equity remains fundamental and essential toward elimination the plague of poverty in our communities.»

Do Prophecies Point to the End of the USA by 2029? In a new book, Bob Thiel cites ancient prophecies and prophetic interpretations to provide the answer

GROVER BEACH, Calif., Jan. 17, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Is now not the time for a researched book about Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and prophecy?

Will what the Biden-Harris Administration do really matter? Could the U.S.A. be gone by 2028 or 2029?

Are there really ancient prophecies from multiple religions (e.g. Jewish, Christian, Hindu) that point to the U.S.A. not being able to last two full presidential terms?

Actually, yes there are.

Is it possible that the end of the U.S.A. could be delayed?

Yes, but …

Many do not realize that the United States is the direct, as well as indirect, subject of many prophecies. Multiple predictions point to its destruction. Some ancient writings point to a particular point in time. And some prophecies seem to point, directly and indirectly to Kamala Harris and perhaps Joe Biden. These and more are covered in the new book Biden-Harris: Prophecies & Destruction.

Biden-Harris: Prophecies & Destruction explains about how, by virtue of their backgrounds and policies, a Biden-Harris Administration will continue to help fulfil various prophecies that will lead to the destruction of the United States. Not intended as an anti-Democratic nor pro-Republican book, Biden-Harris: Prophecies & Destruction also tells the truth about Republican leaders and why their policies have also been leading towards destruction. It answers questions, many questions. Will the Biden-Harris Administration be apocalyptic? Does Bible prophecy warn about a woman leading the U.S.A.? Are there judgmental risks for promoting morally-inappropriate behavior? Citing Islamic, Buddhist, Catholic, Protestant, Byzantine, Native American, and Bible prophecy, as well as the writings of Nostradamus and others.

Biden-Harris: Prophecies & Destruction explains from many sources where, why, when, and even some of how, the various aspects of destruction will come. Since Dr. Thiel first wrote about the Obama Administration in his 2009 book, it has taken steps to fulfill, at least partially, a dozen predictions that Dr. Thiel recorded. Would you like to learn more about the real direction that the United States and its British-descended allies such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are really going? What about Europe, Asia, and the Middle East? This highly referenced book documents the truth about this.

Written by Bob Thiel, Ph.D., one of the world’s preeminent authorities on prophecies for the 21st century, Biden-Harris: Prophecies & Destruction explains why certain commonly reported «prophetic» claims are false, what is prophesied to happen to the U.S.A. economy, and provides nineteen specific reasons why the Biden-Harris Administration will be apocalyptic. It also lists events that are going to happen that will lead to the destruction of the United States of America, as well as its British-descended allies such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Prophecies related to the roles of Europe and Asia are also analyzed.

As an award-winning researcher, Dr. Thiel takes his work seriously, traveling to various places in the U.S.A. and around the world that he identifies in his book. He and his wife have visited scores of sites of religious and prophetic interest around the world. After years of compiling and analyzing prophecies, Dr. Thiel now presents them in a clear, straightforward language, explaining what was prophesied, what has already occurred, and what will happen in the future. He has done hundreds of radio interviews on prophetic matters.

How reliable has Dr. Thiel been interpreting predictions mentioned throughout the years?

Not only did Dr. Thiel’s book, released in 2009, titled «2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect» state that the world would NOT end by December 22, 2012, 31 other predictions in it were confirmed. Plus, there were other post-2012 predictions in that book that also came to pass. Furthermore since Dr. Thiel first wrote about Donald Trump in 2015, world events have at least partially aligned with 20 predictions that Dr. Thiel published. More prophecies will be fulfilled as well with the Biden-Harris Administration.

Biden-Harris: Prophecies & Destruction is a must-read book for those at all interested in the ultimate fate of the United States. The book documents Hopi, Mayan, Biblical, Islamic, Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Hindu, Byzantine, and other prophecies that point to this fate. There are some prophecies that specifically point to one or more female leaders from the West, like Kamala Harris.

There is no other «Biden-Harris» book like it. If you are willing to learn the real truth and have interest in end time prophetic events, read Biden-Harris: Prophecies & Destruction.

There is a free preview available from Amazon Kindle of Biden-Harris: Prophecies & Destruction from January 17-21, 2021, so do not delay, download it today! The paperback version of Biden-Harris: Prophecies & Destruction is available on Amazon for $19.98 and the Amazon Kindle price of Biden-Harris: Prophecies & Destruction will be $4.99 if you wait more than a couple of days.

Eureka, California denies having a Bigfoot in its redwood park

EUREKA, Calif., Jan. 16, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — A coastal town in Northern California discounts media claims that a hairy humanoid is in its public park, and requests that visitors avid the area, where a canopy walk is being constructed in a redwood forest.

The city of Eureka issued the statement after numerous news websites circulated photos of a primate-like form in Sequoia Park, a 70-acre public preserve on the outskirts of town.

Miles Slattery, city manager for the City of Eureka, said he was «aware of the images,» purported to show a primate form on a platform more than 50 feet off the ground in the redwoods. But he dismissed the idea of a primitive man monster in the park.

«It’s a pretty big place, but none of our staff has reported anything,» he said.
The structure in question is part of the city’s Redwood Sky Walk, slated to open in the spring to connect the forest with the city’s zoo.

The $4M aerial trail will extend a quarter mile, linking numerous tree platforms and rising more than 100 feet above the forest floor. The ADA-compliant project will include an adventure segment for more daring visitors.

Slattery urged residents and curious visitors to «please avoid the area during the final construction phase to reduce the impacts on the park and zoo.»

In recent weeks, media outlets including Coast to Coast AM, I Heart Radio, KHVH and Atlas Obscura posted reports of a possible hominid in a tall redwood tree, citing photographs taken by a former volunteer for the zoo.

Several of the outlets noted that nearby Willow Creek is known as the Bigfoot capitol of the world, given the many encounters in the area and that the term Bigfoot was coined there in the 1950s.

Some of the media cited Dr. Richard Stepp, a former professor of physical sciences at Humboldt State University, who theorized that a Bigfoot could be in the park.

«There are streams that flow through the park, covered with thick underbrush. Streams are traditional passageways for large mammals to travel without detection,» said Stepp, a lifelong researcher on paranormal topics.

Moreover, he added, there have been other Bigfoot reports near Eureka, including the testimony of an eyewitness from a farm south of town in the 1940s.

In a communication with a media representative with the city, Steppe clarified that he had not personally seen the photos and that his analysis was merely hypothetical.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Jan. 16, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Alicia G of Drew Right Music releases new single «Frost Me Up». When asked about what the song means to her Alicia G said this: «Frost Me Up» is about how there is nothing wrong with getting all dressed and glammed up, being fun, flirty and confident with who you are. What others have to say about you shouldn’t matter; just be yourself and be strong and confident in everything you do and as the song says, «celebrate me like your birthday and I’ll turn this place into my runway». Listen to «Frost Me Up» now on all major streaming platforms by clicking the link below!

Alicia G, whose legal name is Alicia Kristina Guastaferro, cultivated her career in Buffalo, New York, beginning as a classically trained vocalist at age eight. Refined through years of pageantry, and interlaced with a glittering sense of style, Alicia G embodies the world of pop-culture to the brink. In fact, by the time Alicia G was fifteen years old, she had already traveled across the United States competing in beauty contests for over a decade.

The world got their first look at the soon-to-be reality star when she was approached by the hit series Wife Swap, on ABC. The show made headlines when producers twisted Alicia G story—portraying an unorthodox relationship with her family, irrevocably damaging and defaming her character— The Buffalo native soon found herself in a world of chaos. In the years to come after filming, the damage became more apparent, as Alicia G suffered from years of mental and physical abuse from those around her. In 2013, Alicia G was interviewed on Dr. Phil regarding these struggles.

Alicia G began working tirelessly on her musical career—finding herself through the culmination of a zesty charisma and a classy-but-sassy attitude in the world of rap, hip-hop, and pop music. In addition, she began cultivating her own sound through high-energy performances as a songstress and DJ—sharing the stage with the Goo Goo Dolls and playing radio-sponsored events. Alicia G soon garnered the attention of Multi-Platinum Record Producer, Andrew Lane who has worked with various major label acts such as: The Backstreet Boys, Miley Cyrus, and Becky G. He quickly took note of her talent and the two began cultivating a pop-polished sound with an unapologetic, in-your-face, lyrical structure. The songs were distributed by Drew Right Music, and in 2016 the collaboration’s first release, «Pretty Girl», landed at the top of the Independent Music Charts for three weeks, making it a success and a strong foundation for the reality star.

In March of 2019, Alicia G was recruited to join the ranks of the live streaming app called, BIGO. In less than one year, Alicia G’s audience skyrocketed to over 2.1 million fans that tune in nightly to see the hip-hop princess perform, DJ, and entertain. Her loyal fan base has been termed the AG ARMY.

Alicia G also recently released her hip-hop jingle, «It’s Little But It Jiggles» also produced by Andrew Lane. The song was distributed by Sony Music Entertainment, making it Alicia G’s debut record distributed by a major record label. The music video for «It’s Little But It Jiggles» also received more than 1.4 million views in five days, putting it on the heat list for new music.
