How did you get started in the business?

«I was born and raised in Harlem, as a first generation Dominican-American. NYC is the birthplace of rap and hip-hop, and in the late-80s, my cousins and I were surrounded by these musical influences 24/7. Notorious BIG, Big L. 2Pac, Fresh Prince, LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, NWA, Eminem: all of them were a part of my musical heritage. But hip-hop is a blend; it’s a mix of many thing, many arts – like reggae, Latino sounds, graffiti art, spoken poetry, b-boying, and smooth mixing and DJing. I got started when I was 13, inspired by my cousins. I embraced it all, the sounds, the culture – it was just normal life to us. And by the time I was in my 20s, it was pretty clear that music was no longer a hobby: it would be my career. I entered the SAE institute when I was 30, because I wanted to learn the complicated composing skills behind the music. That’s where I began experimenting with how to transform it all into an album, and I released an EP in 2016: ‘Smoke, Drink, Chill… Type Shit.’ And I haven’t stopped making professional music since.»

What else have you released, and what does the future look like for you?

«I released another single in 2017, titled ‘Wait.’ That featured and was produced by DJ Ron G from NYC. And in 2018, I released ‘UNDERSESTiMATED Freestyle,’ with the help of producer and friend RTCMC. That’s when I knew my dream was really going places. We claimed more than 1.96 million streams on Spotify – an amazing number. Spotify later took the song down (for reasons they never explained) – but the magic had already happened. In 2019, I opened for Ice Cube, Tory Lanez, and BlueFace at the High Times Magazine #SoCal Cannabis Cup in San Bernardino, Cali. And I’ve put out some other important pieces, like ‘Mujer Mia,’ to honor my lady. She’s Bonnie to my Clyde – my ride-or-die.»

KANKAKEE, Ill., June 25, 2020 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Aqua Illinois, a subsidiary of Essential Utilities, Inc., is proud to announce expanded relief options for customers impacted by COVID-19. Aqua Illinois temporarily suspended disconnections and will reconnect residential customers whose service was interrupted for non-payment between June 18, 2019 and March 18, 2020. Customers who were disconnected during this period and who have not already been reconnected should contact Aqua Illinois for restored service and to determine their eligibility for waived reconnection fees and customer assistance programs.

Aqua Illinois encourages any customer whose service was disconnected between June 18, 2019 and March 18, 2020 to contact a customer service representative soon. Aqua Illinois will reconnect service for up to 60 days after the day on which all Restore Illinois Health Regions enter Phase 4 (Revitalization) of Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s May 5, 2020 Restore Illinois plan. Aqua Illinois will also waive reconnection fees for qualified customers for up to six months after all regions enter Phase 4.

Previously disconnected customers may also partner with Aqua Illinois to explore customer assistance plans, such as Deferred Payment Arrangements (DPA). Aqua Illinois is proud to offer extended DPAs, including options with no down payment, for up to six months after all regions enter Phase 4. Residential customers may also qualify for a grant through Aqua’s COVID-19 Bill Payment Assistance Program, which builds upon Aqua Aid.

WOONSOCKET, R.I., June 25, 2020 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — In an ongoing effort to help slow the spread of the virus, CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) today expanded its COVID-19 testing program by announcing 15 additional test sites at select CVS Pharmacy drive-thru locations across Arizona. The opening of additional test sites on Friday, June 26 add to the 49 locations previously opened in Arizona.

The opening of these new sites reflects the company’s commitment to meeting ongoing demand for testing, as well as expanding testing capacity to respond to a surge in new COVID-19 cases. The nearly 200 additional test sites opening across the country this week are among the more than 1,400 locations CVS Health has opened since May and expand the company’s testing capacity to more than 1.5 million tests per month, subject to availability of supplies and lab capacity.

In addition to the drive-thru sites, CVS Health has partnered with a number of community organizations to open eight rapid-response community testing sites across the country, including a site at St. Vincent de Paul’s Virginia G. Piper Medical & Dental Clinic in Phoenix, which aim to increase access to testing for uninsured and underserved populations who are at highest risk for COVID-19.

Nearly sixty percent of the company’s 1,400 test sites across the country, including all sites in Arizona, are in counties that serve communities with the greatest need for support, as measured by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Social Vulnerability Index. The index tracks a variety of census variables including poverty, lack of access to transportation and crowded housing that may weaken a community’s ability to prepare for and recover from hazardous events like natural disasters and disease outbreaks.

Self-swab tests will be available to individuals meeting CDC criteria, in addition to state and age guidelines. Patients must register in advance at CVS.com to schedule an appointment. Patients will be required to stay in their cars and will be directed to the pharmacy drive-thru window or a location in the parking lot at a few stores, where they will be provided with a test kit and given instructions, and a CVS Pharmacy team member will observe the self-swab process to ensure it is done properly. Tests will be sent to an independent, third-party lab for processing, and the results will be available in approximately three days.

Testing will not take place inside any retail locations, and CVS Pharmacy, HealthHUB and MinuteClinic will continue to serve customers and patients.
