LAS VEGAS, Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — The Kansas City Chiefs, fresh off their 31-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV, are the odds-on favorite to win Super Bowl LVI. Just behind the Chiefs oddsmakers placed two NFC teams, including the newly crowned champions, to end next season as Super Bowl winners, according to TheLines, which tracks odds in the U.S. regulated sports betting market.

A consensus of that nation’s largest legal online sportsbooks — including DraftKings, FanDuel, and PointsBet — place the Chiefs at +550 to win the Super Bowl, meaning bettors would win $550 for every $100 wagered. At individual sportsbooks, the Chiefs are being offered with a range from +490 at FanDuel to +600 at PointsBet. The NFL champion Buccaneers and the Green Bay Packers both stand as consensus +950 picks.

«Dramatic swings are inevitable as the year goes on but that is what makes futures bets so intriguing,» said Brett Collson, betting analyst at TheLines.com. «After Super Bowl LIV and before they signed Tom Brady, the Bucs were +5000 to win the Super Bowl, a bet that would have paid off handsomely. Ultimately a star quarterback is typically the most telling factor in NFL futures betting. To that point, as long as Patrick Mahomes remains healthy, the Chiefs are almost certainly going to remain the betting favorite.»

Coincidentally, none of the six favorites reside in states where sports betting is currently widely legal, and only the Buffalo Bills (+1200) play in a state where it is available in any form. The best odds for a team from a state where sports betting is widely legal are for the Tennessee Titans and the Indianapolis Colts, which are both consensus +2700 picks.

Odds for teams that play in legal sports-betting jurisdictions as of Monday, Feb. 8:

  • Bills (+1200)
  • Titans (+2700)
  • Colts (+2700)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers (+3000)
  • Philadelphia Eagles (+5000)
  • Las Vegas Raiders (+5200)
  • Chicago Bears (+5300)
  • Washington Football Team (+6700)
  • Denver Broncos (+6700)
  • New York Giants (+6700)
  • New York Jets (+7000)
  • Detroit Lions (+10000)

Odds for other teams:

  • Chiefs (+550)
  • Buccaneers (+950)
  • Packers (+950)
  • Baltimore Ravens (+1300)
  • Los Angeles Rams (+1300)
  • San Francisco 49ers (+1400)

STATESBORO, Ga., Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Serial Entrepreneur and nationally recognized lifestyle influencer Tere Tatiana has garnered much attention for her various business ventures, including her blossoming trucking company, Labeled Blu Transportation. However, the Statesboro native has never forgotten the community that made her who she is today. For that reason, she is giving back by presenting the Let’s Talk Trucking Seminar, an all-inclusive networking event on Saturday, February 27th that will teach motivated individuals how to launch six figure companies in the trucking industry.

Why trucking, you ask? Well, not only has it been very lucrative for Tere Tatiana herself, she indicates, that as the COVID-19 pandemic wages on, the industry is a hotbed of opportunity for men and women seeking ways to venture into entrepreneurship and to generate additional income in a shaky economic climate. Additionally, Statesboro and the surrounding areas are situated along common truck routes.

«Especially during the pandemic, truck drivers are considered essential workers because we are here making sure everything is still moving as far as getting aid out to victims, and making sure hospitals and medical facilities are getting the proper equipment to take care of the masses,» she said. «Also, trucking is critical to shipping all kinds of goods we need on a daily basis, but there is actually a shortage of drivers. I want to share this information and get as many people out there on the road.»

People who attend the Let’s Talk Trucking Seminar will learn about business structure, the transportation system and truck safety, freight shipping, driver retention, and how to scale your business, among other strategies. It is tailored to those who want to own and operate, or simply own a trucking business. Additional speakers will also discuss the business as well as finances and credit.

«As someone who grew up in Statesboro, I am very happy with the direction the city is going with our current mayor. Typically with events like these, people tend to overlook the smaller cities for the larger more popular ones, but I wanted to stop here first and contribute to the growth of the community here.»

The Let’s Talk Trucking Seminar will take place on Saturday, February 27th from 8:00am12:00pm at 455 Commerce Drive, Statesboro, GA 30461. For more information and to register, visit www.LabledBluTransportation.com.

Research and Markets Logo

The Global Heavy Duty CV Market was valued at USD 337.56 Billion in the year 2020. The global Heavy Duty CV market is observing lucrative growth owing to stringent regulatory standards regarding environment conservation, supportive government policies on energy conservation, as well as growing consumer awareness about product quality. The continuous rise in demand of heavy trucks in Asia Pacific region is driving the demand of industrial products from last few years. The recent technology promises substantial reduction in maintenance costs, which is why it is received by a significantly large number of buyers hailing from diverse industrial backgrounds.

The demand for 7.5-16 tonnage vehicle is expected to be driven by the increasing demand for truck in construction and growing industrialization requiring heavy trucks for various manufacturing processes. Also, ICEs are usually powered by energy-dense fuels such as gasoline or diesel fuel, liquids derived from fossil fuels. While there are many stationary applications, most ICEs are used in mobile applications and are the dominant power supply for vehicles such as trucks, cars, aircraft and boats.

Owing to low production cost in Asian countries backed with rising industrialization, manufacturers are investing in economies such as India and China which is propelling the market growth. Positive outlook towards automobile and electronic sector coupled with rapid industrialization across developed and emerging economies will drive the Heavy-Duty CV market size. Additionally, expectation of rise in consumer demand and investment by public and private sector in small and medium scale industries will anticipated to drive the market of global Heavy-Duty CV in future.

The market is also expected to register huge growth in demand post Covid-19 pandemic situation attributable to the demand for the heavy trucks slightly increased in August 2020, as several leading manufacturers started production of trucks and electric vehicles. Touchdown: Cadillac Wins the Big Game on Cars.com with a 194% Spike in Traffic From Car-Shopping Football Fans

CHICAGO, Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Besides Tampa Bay, this year’s big winner was Cadillac with its Edward-Scissorhands-inspired commercial that led to a 194% traffic bump to its respective branded pages on Cars.com™ (NYSE: CARS), a leading digital automotive marketplace and solutions provider.1 GM…

CHICAGO, Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Besides Tampa Bay, this year’s big winner was Cadillac with its Edward-Scissorhands-inspired commercial that led to a 194% traffic bump to its respective branded pages on Cars.com™ (NYSE: CARS), a leading digital automotive marketplace and solutions provider.1 GM also saw triple-digit traffic increases to its EV pages on the marketplace while Jeep came in third place at a whopping 93% lift from car-shopping football fans. Overall, auto brands’ Big Game commercials drove a 38% average increase in Cars.com site pageviews as football fans multitasked during the game and sought the marketplace’s trusted third-party input to aid them on their shopping journey.

«This year’s Big Game saw 50% less OEM advertisers compared to last year, likely due to overall sports viewership down all season,» said Brooke Skinner Ricketts, chief experience officer of Cars.com. «Some automakers favored more targeted, efficient digital media advertising on Cars.com around the Big Game to better reach the millions of active car shoppers who choose our marketplace as a critical destination to research, read reviews and connect with local dealers. As automotive brands continue to focus on this valuable in-market shopper audience, Cars.com is a leading platform for marketers who prioritize impact and efficiency.»

For those brands that opted for a big ticket TV commercial during the game, some ads sparked more action from car shoppers than others. When Will Ferrell portrayed holding a grudge against Norway for the country’s electric vehicle adoption in GM’s comedic commercial, Cars.com saw a 169% increase in consumers flocking to GM’s EV pages to discover more about the automaker’s EV models. In addition, the commercial triggered a 77% increase in total EV searches on Cars.com during the game and a 41% increase for used Hummers.

Visits to other featured brands’ pages peaked, too:

  • 93% – Jeep’s ‘The Middle’ featuring Bruce Springsteen
  • 13% – Toyota’s Jessica Long story
  • 157% – Ford Mach-E, aired in select local markets

Cars.com analyzed site traffic patterns to advertised car model pages during the eight minutes before each spot aired and again eight minutes after.

NEW YORK and MIDDLEBURG, Va., Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Meredith Corporation‘s (NYSE: MDP) FOOD & WINE and Sheila Johnson’s Salamander Hotels & Resorts announce the debut of The Family Reunion presented by Kwame Onwuachi, a multi-day event that will celebrate diversity in the hospitality community through cooking classes and demonstrations, wine tastings and dinners, and thought-provoking panel discussions with world-class chefs, sommeliers and industry leaders including Carla Hall, Edouardo Jordan, Nina Compton, Carlton McCoy, Gregory Gourdet, Mashama Bailey, Rodney Scott, Tavel Bristol-Joseph, Pierre Thiam and more.

Co-hosted by chef and author Kwame Onwuachi and Salamander Hotels & Resorts Founder & CEO Sheila Johnson, The Family Reunion will take place August 19 – 22, 2021 at Johnson’s Five-Star-rated Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, Virginia, located in the heart of the state’s wine country and just one hour from Washington, D.C.

Event tickets will go on sale in April at www.SalamanderHotels.com/FamilyReunion. Resort packages and individual ticket options will be available, while specific programming will also be unveiled at that time.*

Nurturing, developing and celebrating racial and ethnic diversity within the next generation of hospitality professionals is a core part of the mission of the event. In addition to experiences taking place throughout the 340-acre property’s outdoor event spaces, Cooking Studio, Culinary Garden and restaurants, there will be a center stage venue hosting a rotating lineup of presentations and panel discussions. Throughout the weekend, speakers, chefs and sommeliers will delve closely into the Black cooking traditions that have shaped cuisine in America, share lessons from the past, and focus on building a better and more inclusive future.

A portion of the proceeds will be used to create a mentorship and scholarship program which fosters diversity in the hospitality industry, as well as to support efforts to help end childhood hunger.

The only African-American woman to wholly own a Forbes Five-Star resort, Sheila Johnson is renowned as the co-founder of Black Entertainment Television and is also a partner in Monumental Sports & Entertainment. As CEO and founder of Salamander Hotels & Resorts, which manages luxury properties in the US and the Caribbean, she has spoken frequently about the need for greater diversity within the hospitality industry.

«Our remarkable, constantly renewing and evolving industry is as diverse as any other,» said Johnson. «But, we can, and should do more. Therefore, I’m immensely proud to partner with FOOD & WINE and Kwame Onwuachi and delighted Salamander Resort & Spa can provide a platform for thoughtful discussion about inclusion.»

Leading up to the event, Onwuachi, who is also a 2019 FOOD & WINE Best New Chef and the author of the culinary memoir Notes from a Young Black Chef, will spend nine days in residency at the resort, where he will be cooking food based on his Afro-Caribbean heritage.

«We should be doing everything in our power to celebrate diversity in our industry,» said Onwuachi. «For too long we have gone unnoticed and under-appreciated. This is our time.»

The Family Reunion Presented by Kwame Onwuachi is part of the expanding FOOD & WINE Classic network of events that’s anchored by the celebrated FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, a mainstay of the culinary world for over three decades, as well as the recently launched FOOD & WINE Classic at Home virtual events, among others. Created in collaboration with Salamander Hotels & Resorts, FOOD & WINE will bring its expertise in editorial event production to the creation of The Family Reunion and share stories about the event in print, on foodandwine.com and on F&W Pro, a business content vertical for the hospitality industry.

FOOD & WINE Editor in Chief Hunter Lewis said, «We’re grateful to Kwame for bringing the idea of The Family Reunion to FOOD & WINE and thrilled to partner with him, Sheila, and the team at Salamander Hotels & Resorts to help produce the inaugural event in Virginia’s beautiful wine country. The event’s mission aligns with FOOD & WINE’s commitment to empowering and uplifting more diverse voices in the culinary and food media industries.»

The Family Reunion enjoys sponsorship support from Virginia Tourism Corporation, Lexus and the Brett Johnson Collection.

* The event will follow appropriate COVID-19 health and safety measures in conjunction with CDC and state guidelines.

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Founded in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1980 by Don Dunham and Don Ogden, A Yankee Line has grown to 76 luxury coaches based in the Boston and New York metro areas. The motorcoaches in their fleet vary from 21 to 56 passenger capacity, in an effort to meet their clienteles’ specific needs.

Dunham commented: «We have been operating TEMSA TS35s since 2013 as our chosen ‘small bus’ complement to our versatile luxury fleet.»

The new purchase is one of six TEMSA 35-foot coaches in their fleet. It targets the luxury executive market and accommodates 21 passengers in specially designed two-plus-one seats. Equipped with satellite TV, wood grain flooring, aluminium wheels, 110V outlets, and USB ports, it also boasts a custom galley manufactured by Creative Mobile Interiors.

Powered by a Cummins L9 350 HP engine driving through an Allison B500 transmission, like all TEMSAs delivered in the US, the TS35 has a stainless steel monocoque frame, substantial underfloor luggage space, and the latest in safety technology.

Tony Mongiovi, TEMSA’s NE Regional Manager, said:

«We at TEMSA are proud of the fact that we got to ‘show off’ our versatility, and in the midst of a worldwide slowdown, it’s great to see an operator like A Yankee Line investing in the future of luxury motorcoach transportation.»

«Our TS35 model is among the essential players in the US motor coach/travel segment and it stands out in the market as a very comfortable product available in dimensions ideal for smaller customer segments as well as for its robustness and low operating cost. Our alliance with A Yankee Line, one of the most powerful players in the market since 2013, is very valuable to us. Today, we are once again pleased because they have chosen TEMSA.»

«Key factors which make TEMSA a successful actor worldwide are our ability to quickly adapt to our customers’ needs with our robust R&D center and technological advancements, and our capacity to launch tailor-made products in the market. RMA Worldwide Announces New Back to Work Transportation Programs

ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — RMA Worldwide, a leading private transportation company, announced this week their new back to work transportation program. ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — RMA Worldwide, a leading private transportation company, announced this week their new back to work transportation program. Designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience, the new transportation program will help ensure a smooth transition as workers return to the office.

In addition to chauffeured sedans and charter services, RMA Worldwide offers shuttle services for essential workers. On request, the Company can pick-up multiple passengers and return them safely to commuter lots.

«For employees working or living in large cities, traveling to and from work can create a unique challenge,» said Robert Alexander, CEO of RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation. «Driving themselves is not always an option and public transportation increases the chance of COVID-19 infection. This is precisely why we created a flexible and safe back to work travel and transportation program.»

Many workers experience anxieties over public transportation. Even those familiar with public transit may find it difficult to return to crowded vehicles during this stage of the pandemic. Even after the public health emergency has ended, it will likely take some time before people feel comfortable traveling in large groups of strangers.

For most Americans, avoiding public transportation isn’t realistic or practical. Traveling to work alone increases the number of cars on the road. This impacts commute time, increases employee stress and tardiness. Traveling alone also increases the amount of parking required at office buildings and other commercial locations.

Several employers have already taken advantage of back to work transportation programs like those offered by RMA Worldwide. These programs minimize the number of cars on the road while keeping employees safe and comfortable. Transportation programs reduce employee absences and tardiness and improve employee retention. Employers that offer these types of services may find it easier to recruit new employees.

Chauffeured transportation services reduce COVID-19 transmission in the workplace. Employees that travel via shuttle or other form of chauffeured transportation have limited exposure to other passengers. Professional chauffeurs must follow strict rules and requirements to prevent the spread of disease.

RMA Worldwide Transportation is taking several steps to ensure the health and safety of their passengers. All RMA Chauffeurs wear face coverings and wipe down all high touch surfaces between trips. The Company uses electrostatic disinfecting sprayers to clean and sanitize vehicles between passengers. During travel, passengers must wear a face covering as required by the Federal mask mandate for transportation. RMA provides disposable face coverings for travelers on request.

About RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation
RMA Worldwide provides professional transportation services to individuals and businesses around the world. RMA utilizes state-of-the-art technology and an extensive fleet of luxury and executive-style vehicles to deliver quality and reliable service to a wide range of clients. The Company offers on-demand chauffeured services, shuttle service, point to point transfers, and charter services. RMA’s commitment to quality and customer service has enabled the Company to become a leading transportation provider throughout much of the world.

Parking BOXX Announces 2020 Parking Solutions Scholarship Winner

SARNIA, Ontario, Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Parking BOXX, the North American-based parking systems manufacturer and software developer, announced the recipient of the 2020 Parking Solutions Scholarship for Technical Innovation in Parking Solutions.

The scholarship was awarded to Kimberly Taylor, whose essay described a «parking dream» from the perspective of a busy student, employee, housewife & mother of daughters ages two and 14-months. Her proposed solution incorporates enhancements to existing search functionality to improve convenience by routing the driver to available parking prior to the driver’s final destination. Mrs. Taylor is studying Business Administration at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, which is a polytechnic institute in Canada.

Mrs. Taylor’s essay was selected for the award because she captured the essence of frequently encountered issues that may be exacerbated by circumstances. Her proposed solution builds upon existing technologies to improve usability and convenience. Mrs. Taylor stated, «I answered based on what would make these experiences easier for me as a mother with my two girls on a time crunch.»

«The pain points in this essay are frequently encountered by vehicle drivers. The proposed solution elegantly provides a value-add to the driver as well as the parking operator.» said Renee Smith, Parking BOXX’s CTO, «This concept is well-aligned with Parking BOXX’s integration strategy.»

This marks the fourth year that Parking BOXX has offered the international scholarship. To apply, students submit an essay of 500-words that focuses on identifying a problem related to parking and outlining their solution. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a student who presents the most innovative, yet practical solution for making parking more user-friendly, efficient, or otherwise enhanced. Students must be enrolled, or due to be enrolled, in a program at an accredited graduate school, university or college, vocational school, technical school, or community college.

In 2020, over 470 applications were received, which is more than a 50% increase over the prior year’s submissions. Students proposed a variety of solutions: from parking robots to garage design improvements, to shared vehicles or the elimination of vehicles altogether. This year, there was a notable focus on addressing the expense of educational parking as well as the stress that parking causes students.

The scholarship program initially launched in 2017 to foster creativity and problem-solving from the point of view of the student, who is typically a younger demographic with fresh and unique perspective. As the need for innovative solutions in parking continues, Parking BOXX wishes to support an emerging class of solution-oriented professionals.

Parking BOXX would like to thank all of this year’s applicants for their creative and thought provoking essays. We were pleased by the overwhelming global response. The Parking Solutions Scholarship is now open for 2021!
