As of today, the Company has satisfactorily concluded negotiations with the Sindicato de Trabajadores de la Industria Aeronáutica, Comunicaciones Similares y Conexos de la República Mexicana (STIA) and with the Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores al Servicio de las Líneas Aéreas, Transportes, Servicios, Similares y Conexos Independencia (Independencia).

Likewise, negotiations with the Asociación Sindical de Sobrecargos de Aviación de México (ASSA), are continuing in the best conditions, aligned with the objectives required to access the financing that will give viability to the Company.

It is also important to highlight that the ASSA, Independencia and STIA unions complied with the optimization and staff reduction program in October and November necessary for the Company to continue its restructuring process.

The company continues in negotiations with the Asociación Sindical de Pilotos Aviadores de Mexico (ASPA) seeking to achieve the necessary conditions established in the restructuring plan and recognizes the effort made by ASPA to contain the negative effects of the pandemic.

The concluded agreements, along with those that are in under negotiation, are necessary for the Company to comply with certain commitments and objectives required by the DIP Lenders under the Senior Debtor in Possession Credit Facility («DIP Financing»), obtained within the Company’s voluntary financial restructuring process, under the Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code of the United States of America.

The Company will continue working in a coordinated manner with its unions in order to comply with the necessary conditions to request the next disbursement under Tranche 2 of the DIP Financing facility. The remaining disbursements are subject to the fulfillment of additional goals, conditions and objectives.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Dec. 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — The Springfield Museums present Chance Encounters: Mixed Media Constructions by Shawn Farley on view through March 7, 2021, at the D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.

Massachusetts artist Shawn Farley creates sculptural assemblages that give new life to obsolete foundry molds and other found objects. By embracing chance and trusting her keen artistic instincts, Farley constructs clever compositions that take on human qualities and adopt their own personalities.

To embark on her work, Farley searches flea markets and seeks out junk dealers from all over the country. She is particularly interested in wood patterns or molds formed by talented craftsmen long ago. Once used to make fittings for Hoover Dam ships or contribute to operations at a mill in Shelburne Falls, the foundry molds that are integral to Farley’s work served an important industrial purpose. These, she said, are unique pieces on their way to becoming the trash of history.

«These objects radiate personality and voice, demanding an opportunity at another life,» Farley said. Since foundry molds come in all shapes and sizes, it is often playing with them that dictates what they will become. Farley might have a piece nearly finished when by chance, she places another piece next to it rather than on it and it changes the entire direction and meaning of the piece.

While some of Farley’s constructions express personal views on social, political, and religious issues, others are purely automatic. «Freed from their destiny as castaways or trash, these objects assume new identities and an evocation of something soulful,» she said.

DoubleMe demonstrated TwinWorld, a social mixed reality platform, to Park Jeong-Hyun, the mayor, and his officers from the city hall’s cultural and tourism department. They discussed the detailed plan for the «Hologram City» project, a city-scale social mixed reality experience starting from next year.

«Using simple and free tools, this will be the world’s first attempt to build a city-scale social mixed reality experience created by citizens,» said Mayor Park. «In an era of contactless technology, this is a great opportunity to spread the culture of Buyeo to the world.»

With TwinWorld, citizens can build infinite layers of mixed reality experiences onto the city, creating an entire area that combines the sandbox gameplay of Minecraft with the AR and geolocation applications of Pokémon GO.

This will allow citizens to design and share mixed reality content such as 3D models, texts, videos, and audio with other users.

Additionally, DoubleMe will host a «Hologram City Design Hackathon» during the 67th Baekje Cultural Festival next year. Students from all over the world will participate and design memorable holographic experiences and help promote the beauty of Baekje culture globally.

For those who don’t live in South Korea but still want to see the city for themselves, DoubleMe will use their 3D spatial scanning technology to develop life-size models, or digital twins, of Buyeo and its holographic contents. Viewers will then be able to remotely have walk-through experiences of the city, which will be made available via TwinWorld in mid-to-late 2021.

DoubleMe is also working with 12 major global telecom carriers such as BT, Deutsche Telecom, SingTel, and Vodafone to commercialise the 5G holographic telepresence. With these partnerships, DoubleMe will implement «Hologram Cities» in different countries next year.
