CHICAGO, Oct. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Available today, the app Wayward offers independent travelers and event organizers the simplest way to track and share adventures around the world.

Wayward is free to download and just as easy to use, so adventurers can spend less time on their phone and more time exploring the world. It requires no fancy hardware or add-ons: just a smart phone and a passion for adventure.

Wayward is ultra-efficient, running smoothly in the background without draining your battery. It uses very little data and works just as well without cell reception, so even when adventures go off the grid, they aren’t left off the map. Wayward lets users save notes along the way, to remember exactly where they got that flat tire or found a perfect waterfall. Adventurers can easily share their LIVE route map, so friends and family back home can follow along. Wayward is simple and intuitive: they start tracking with one tap, toss the phone in their backpack, and get back to the adventure.

For event organizers, Wayward lets organizers track all participants on one map. From a cross-country bike race to just an epic neighborhood scavenger hunt, Wayward gives organizers and their audience a bird’s-eye view of every participant’s route, all tracked on one simple, shareable map. It’s easy to get participants signed up, organized, and easy to share the live tracking of every event.

While the pandemic has severely impacted event organizers across the globe, Wayward offers an easy, affordable way for organizers to run socially distanced events, while still capturing all the excitement on a single map for spectators to follow along at home.

Wayward was designed by the people at Lost Travel, who grew tired of piecing together their routes by memory after adventures. It’s been used to track trips by bike, kayak, motorcycle, Cessna, foot, and any other way to get around, on nearly every corner of the globe, from Southeast Asia to South America to South Brooklyn.

Jake Gafner, the CEO of Lost Travel, explains, «We designed Wayward for three reasons. First, a real adventure lasts more than a day. Secondly, adventures go where cell reception doesn’t. And third, you shouldn’t have to carry an extra piece of hardware to track yourself — just use the phone you carry everywhere. We solved all that, and then we made it easy to share your adventure in real time, so your friends can follow along.»

Wayward is now available for free on iOS and Android devices, with simple pricing options for larger event organizers. Learn more at www.wayward.travel.

Global Automotive Smart Display Market (2020 to 2025) – Rising Sales of Electric Vehicles Presents Opportunities

DUBLIN, Oct. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — The «Automotive Smart Display Market by Application, Display Size (&lessThan;5, 5-10, >10), Display Technology (LCD, TFT-LCD, OLED), Autonomous Driving (Semi-autonomous, Autonomous), Electric Vehicle, Vehicle Class, Vehicle Type, Region – Global Forecast to 2025» report has been added to ResearchAndMarkets.com’s offering.

Research and Markets Logo

The global automotive smart display market is projected to grow from USD 7.2 billion in 2020 to USD 10.9 billion by 2025, at a CAGR of 8.8% from 2020 to 2025.

The automotive industry is continuously evolving, with an increasing focus on semi-autonomous and autonomous vehicle technologies. Several vehicle manufacturers have showcased their new concept cars with autonomous and connected car technologies. These cars, with their advanced technologies and radical designs, are expected to hit the market soon. The smart displays used in these cars need to provide comfort and convenience as well as access to the latest technology. The increasing demand for smart displays can be attributed to advances in semi-autonomous and autonomous technologies. The need to integrate such technologies is higher in these vehicles compared to conventional vehicles.

BEV segment is projected to be the fastest-growing electric vehicle during the forecast period

The adoption of strict emission norms by the governments of major countries has increased the penetration of electric vehicles worldwide. The demand for BEVs is expected to increase in the coming years due to an increase in the adoption of strict emissions norms by the governments of various countries. Several governments now provide subsidies for the use of environment-friendly vehicles, thereby encouraging the use of electric vehicles. Stringent emission regulations in the US, particularly in states such as California and New York, have led to increased sales of electric vehicles. Electric vehicles tend to have a higher number of electronics/advanced systems.

Thus, the growing number of electric vehicles will result in an increased demand for automotive smart display systems. In Europe, the automotive smart display market for BEVs is estimated to grow due to the emission regulation mandates and the development of electric vehicle technology in the region. OEMs are also expanding their manufacturing facilities worldwide to increase the production of electric vehicles. For instance, in August 2017, Tesla announced its plan to raise USD 1.5 billion to fund the development of its cheapest electric car, which proves the aggressiveness of manufacturers in the market.

The LCD segment is estimated to be the largest automotive smart display market, by application

LCD is a commonly used technology in automotive display applications and meets the temperature and durability standards for all automotive display applications. Depending on the function of the automotive display application and the range of temperature, manufacturers use a combination of LCD and TFT in display applications. Basic LCD panels are of two varieties, namely, monochrome LCD panels that usually display images in blue or dark grey tones against a grey or white background, and color LCD panels that produce colored images based on either a passive or an active matrix. Low-end vehicles with basic display functions use monochrome LCD panels and, for a few applications, use a color LCD panel of a passive matrix that is cost-effective. LCDs are mostly used in digital instrument clusters and center stacks in vehicles. The adoption of digital instrument clusters and center stacks is witnessed in both economical and mid-segment vehicles. Many commercial vehicles are also equipped with LCD digital instrument clusters and center stacks. Thus, increasing the demand for LCD segment.

Asia Pacific automotive smart display market is projected to grow at a significant rate during the forecast period

The Asia Pacific region comprises emerging economies, such as China and India, along with developed nations, such as Japan and South Korea. In recent years, the region has emerged as a hub for automobile production. The growing purchasing power has triggered the demand for automobiles in the region. Steady growth in demand for semi-autonomous vehicles in the emerging markets of Asia Pacific is also responsible for the growth of the automobile sector in the region. Decreasing display prices and the rising number of luxury vehicles are expected to drive the Asia Pacific automotive smart display market.

The Asia Pacific region is home to key suppliers of automotive smart display systems and components, such as Panasonic (Japan), Yazaki (Japan), and Nippon Seiki (Japan). These companies are continuously investing in research and development to innovate automotive applications. The availability of inexpensive labor and favorable government policies enable the mass production of components, resulting in the low prices of automotive smart displays. The implementation of new technologies, the establishment of additional manufacturing plants, and the creation of a value-added supply chain between manufacturers and material providers make the Asia Pacific region a market of immense growth potential for automotive smart display applications.

Earnhardt Auto Centers’ Heartwarming Philanthropic Move Honoring Tex Earnhardt’s Wishes

CHANDLER, Ariz., Oct. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Earnhardt Auto Centers and State Forty-Eight are pleased to award more than $6,100 to the Chandler Compadres. This 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization has been dedicated to Valley kids and families in need since 1980.

Donating to the Chandler Compadres is a natural choice for Earnhardt Auto Centers, a multi-generational family business. Tex Earnhardt, its founder, loved children and was extremely passionate about setting children up for success – as he was only 20 years old when he started his business in Chandler. After six decades of business leadership, Tex passed away in April 2020.

«The loss of such an inspirational man was devastating to the Earnhardt family, employees and the millions of people who knew of the legendary icon,» said Derby Earnhardt, Tex’s grandson. «In his memory and to shine light on Tex Earnhardt’s mark on the economic landscape of the Southwest and the hearts of Arizonans, we created the Tex Earnhardt Memorial t-shirt with State Forty-Eight.»

More than 1,100 shirts have been sold. Every Tex Earnhardt Memorial shirt earned $5 in proceeds for charity. The project was underwritten by Earnhardt Auto Centers with help from local clothing company, State Forty-Eight.

State Forty-Eight collaborated with Earnhardt Auto Centers to design the shirt which portrays Tex sitting upon the famous steer, Chisholm, with the iconic Arizona sky behind him. The t-shirt was initially intended to be available for purchase in Earnhardt stores only. However, after an overwhelming positive response on Social Media, State Forty Eight decided to sell the shirt at their headquarters and their online store.

About Earnhardt Auto Centers

Earnhardt Auto Centers has 21 dealerships representing 17 brands in the Phoenix, AZ, and Las Vegas, AZ, area. The company’s employees help fund No Bull Charities, which donates to a different charity each quarter.

About State Forty-Eight

State Forty-Eight is a Chandler-based clothing company with a strong emphasis on their Arizona roots. In addition to their online store, their clothing can be found at retailers across the Phoenix area.

About the Chandler Compadres

For more than 30 years, members of the Chandler Compadres have donated their time, resources, talents and money to help kids and families. The organization has distributed more than $10.3 million to valley charities, particularly those benefiting youth academic and development programs.

State of Yucatán: Two Years of Sustained Growth in Tourism

MERIDA, Mexico, Oct. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Increases in air connectivity and visitor arrivals, support for tourism infrastructure and product development, the creation of health and safety protocols, and several accolades and recognitions — all are the direct result of the first two years of Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal and his administration, working with the Ministry of Tourism of Yucatán to develop, strengthen and promote the state’s tourism industry, using a…

MERIDA, Mexico, Oct. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Increases in air connectivity and visitor arrivals, support for tourism infrastructure and product development, the creation of health and safety protocols, and several accolades and recognitions — all are the direct result of the first two years of Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal and his administration, working with the Ministry of Tourism of Yucatán to develop, strengthen and promote the state’s tourism industry, using a sustainable approach.

«Facing the global challenges in the tourism activity, the State of Yucatán has not stopped for a single moment,» said Michelle Fridman Hirsch, head of the Ministry of Tourism of Yucatán. «Efforts have even been redoubled to move after the effects of the pandemic, towards a gradual and safe reactivation to contribute, in the first instance, to the economic recovery of the Yucatecan population and the state.»

In just 24 months, the governor and his administration have better positioned the Yucatán brand as a national and international tourist destination of note. This is reflected in the more than 3.2 million visitors who arrived by land and sea in 2019. This number — a record for Yucatán, including more than 2 million overnight visitors — represented an increase of 14.5% in overall arrivals and a 26.9% jump in international visitors over the previous year. Yucatán maintained positive numbers until the first two months of 2020, prior to the Covid-19 crisis, with an increase of 9.1% in the arrival of overnight visitors compared to the same period in 2019, when it registered the arrival of 344,978 tourists.

Regarding air connectivity, 104,000-plus seats and six new routes that opened new markets to Yucatán have been added. Today, the international airport of capital city Mérida is doubling the capacity of its air terminal through important infrastructure improvements.

To date, there is more than 770 MD of private tourism investment in hotels, restaurants, marinas, tourist parks and tourist products, among others. This is possible thanks to constant work on all the issues that give certainty and confidence to investors, such as strengthening security and various regulatory improvements, as well as the introduction of tax incentives for investors in the interior of the state.

The Ministry of Tourism of Yucatán invested nearly 2.7 MD in the urban improvements in the tourist area of Puerto Progreso to provide visitors and cruise passengers with recreation areas, as well as the installation of a modern lighting system at the port dock. With these improvements, the arrival of more than 40 additional cruise ships from different international shipping companies was completed for 2020 and 2021. The previous year, the cruise segment saw an increase of 6.1% with the arrival of 146 cruise ships carrying 470,418 passengers.

One of the main goals of the Ministry of Tourism of Yucatán ongoing efforts is innovation with a sustainable vision. More than 60 new tourism products have been developed and integrated in the state’s six tourism regions, covering market segments such as nature, culture, gastronomy, beach, adventure and «urban premium,» among others. With this effort, it was possible to highlight — and bring tourism products to — places like Tekax, which saw a new tourism surge, increasing its visitor numbers by 300%. Today, the historical city — briefly the state capital, in 1845 — has new investments and more qualified personnel.

MGE-Managed ilani Reveals Plans for Brand-New Restaurant Venues, Additional Gaming Space and Hotel Tower

UNCASVILLE, Connecticut, Oct. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, manager of ilani in Ridgefield, Wash., is pleased to announce major updates to its premier northwestern U.S. property as the brand continues its upward momentum in developing integrated entertainment resorts (IER) worldwide. In partnership with the Cowlitz Tribe, Howard S. The expansion is an extension of MGE’s global growth strategy and the Cowlitz Tribe’s long-term vision for its reservation, following the completion of ilani’s Meeting & Entertainment Center, parking garage and convenience store.

«On the heels of combatting many challenges this year, we are thrilled to announce the expansion and growth of ilani, bringing a wealth of new amenities and entertainment options for future guests,» said Mario Kontomerkos, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. «As we continue on this path of strategic development, we recognize this expansion will bring growth, prosperity and excitement to the Pacific Northwest and further position ilani as the premier gaming, dining, entertainment and meeting destination in the region.»

Starting on October 15, 2020, construction for two new dining venues and additional gaming space will commence; upon completion, the expansion will bring ilani’s total property size to over 400,000 square feet. «We have been steadfast in our efforts to bring forward a business model that complements our region and provides an unmatched experience for our guests,» said Kara Fox-LaRose, general manager and president of ilani. «Our business has grown incrementally since opening just over three years ago, and our new parking garage, expanded gaming space and additional restaurants provide increased opportunities to ensure the sustainability of our business and will continue to contribute to the economic vitality of our tribe and the area.  The addition of a hotel will allow us to bring more visitation to our region, and we are looking forward to the stabilization of our economy so we can begin construction. In the meantime, we will advance the design with the Cowlitz Tribe to ensure its elements properly represent the tribe’s heritage and meet the needs of our guests.»

The Cowlitz and Mohegan Tribes will work together to master plan the reservation while continuing to invest in economic development that complements their existing businesses and the surrounding community.

UNCASVILLE, Conn., Oct. Wright and Friedmutter Group, ilani will feature additions to its exterior and interior designs, including two new restaurant venues, expanded gaming space, as well as a 14-story hotel tower.

In as early as 2021, construction will commence on ilani’s 14-story, 300-room hotel glass tower, which will feature large suites and amenities such as a spa, fitness center, top-floor restaurant and more.

Taos Ski Valley unveils 2020-21 winter season plans: big alpine skiing and an intimate experience

TAOS SKI VALLEY, N.M., Oct. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Taos Ski Valley leaders are thrilled to announce a plan for a return to skiing and riding this winter, offering visitors a welcome respite in the mountains while maintaining aggressive COVID Safe Practices. Taos Ski…

Taos Ski Valley will operate at 50% of peak capacity for the 2020-2021 winter season, meaning guests will have a once-in-a-lifetime Taos experience in an uncrowded, intimate alpine sanctuary.

«This winter, visitors will find fewer skiers, but all the heart at Taos Ski Valley. We are eager to welcome guests back to the mountain, and transform them with our pristine alpine environment,» said David Norden, CEO of Taos Ski Valley. «Of course, an unprecendented year means unprecedented skiing operations. We took our time with the details to make sure our winter plans would help create a sustained, viable ski environment for the entire season. We carefully developed a thoughtful, socially responsible approach with our ski industry peers and the state’s tourism and health regulators that offers visitors an incredible experience with crowd-free access to our legendary ski terrain, while still making our staff, community, and guests’ health and well-being our top priority.»

Taos Ski Valley’s B Corporation ethos has been a beacon as the resort navigated through the pandemic response. Taos has elected to operate at a 50% capacity this winter out of an abundance of caution and care for the greater good, and to create an environment that promotes health and physical distancing. Staff, visitor, and employee well-being has been at the forefront of all decision-making and operations planning for this winter season. Additionally, Taos is committed to supporting the Northern New Mexico community through this crisis and helping to safely rebuild the local economy.

Although capacity will be limited, Taos Ski Valley plans to operate dining, lodging, rentals, and retail.

2020-2021 Taos Ski Valley winter season plans include:

  • Lift tickets must be purchased online, in advance of any visit, in order to manage the 50% capacity goal. Tickets will not be offered for sale at the ticket window. Ticket sales will continue until all are sold out. The number of day tickets available will dynamically change based on visitor patterns and season pass usage, so visitors are encouraged to plan ahead. Ticket sales will begin October 15 for the four weeks of early season, and on October 22 for the prime season.
  • A whole new set of season pass options will be offered. These complement visitors’ unusual work and schooling schedules this year, and support the goal of physical distancing and capacity limitations, while also offering extensive ski days on the mountain. Additionally, Taos is giving back to the community with a contribution to the Taos Community Foundation for every pass sold. Passes go on sale today, and only a limited number of passes are available at these prices during the Early Fall Pass Sale, which runs through October 25. If demand is high, pass sales may close prior to October 25.
    • Midweek $450
Skiing or riding Monday–Thursday with holiday blackouts. Returning passholders from last season receive $50 off. $5.00 contribution to the Fund for Taos.
    • Weekday Plus $695
Skiing or riding Monday-Friday, with holiday blackouts. Early and late season skiing or riding any day of the week. Option to purchase tickets on any holiday or weekend for a discounted rate of $85. Two comp tickets per passholder for any holiday weekend days. Returning passholders from last season receive $50 off. $10 contribution to the Fund for Taos.
    • Unlimited $1,600
Unlimited skiing or riding, any day of the week, no restrictions, (reservations may be required for opening Thanksgiving holiday weekend skiing.) Returning passholders from last season receive $50 off. Purchase during the Early Fall Sale and receive a complimentary Ikon Base Pass. $25 contribution to the Fund for Taos.

Taos Ski Valley’s new set of season passes are on sale now and can be purchased here.

  • Ikon Pass holders will need to make a reservation to ski or ride at Taos Ski Valley through the Ikon Pass system.
  • Private ski and ride lessons will be offered at the world-renowned Ernie Blake Snowsports School. Private lessons can include up to five guests visiting together. To book a lesson call 888.262.8398. Group lessons and childcare will not be offered this season.
  • The Blake at Taos Ski Valley is planning to operate at 65% capacity, offering guests an elevated ski-in/ski-out experience with added amenities for guests including a spa and on-site or in-room dining. For added peace of mind, cleaning, disinfecting, and HVAC protocols have been significantly heightened, and all guests will be required to go through COVID screening upon arrival. Some guest services, including the ski valet and parking valet, will be eliminated this season.
  • On-mountain restaurants are planning to open (including 192 at The Blake, the Bavarian, Phoenix Grill, Rhoda’s Restaurant, Tenderfoot Katie’s, and Whistlestop Café) and will operate with COVID safety protocols including physically distanced seating that maximizes open-air dining whenever possible, new ordering procedures including contactless payment processing, and more.
  • The resort will be cashless, meaning payment for all dining, rentals, ticketing, and retail will be via credit, debit, or prepaid card only. A cashless approach will reduce contact during the payment process. Guests should be prepared to pay with their smartphones or with credit, debit, or prepaid cards.
  • A new skier drop-off area replaces the parking lot shuttle, which will not operate this season. The new drop-off provides convenient access to the base area.
  • Indoor spaces throughout the resort will be significantly limited this year, so skiers will need to put on boots and gear in designated outdoor areas, in their cars, or in their lodging. Although there will be no locker room access, a no-touch basket check will be available to guests for a fee.
  • No large public gatherings will be allowed, including weddings, conferences, events, and competitions.

Taos Ski Valley will look a bit different this winter due to COVID Safe Practices: guests must wear a face covering in all public places, are asked to follow appropriate physical distancing practices, and gatherings of more than 10 people are not allowed. Public, indoor gathering places throughout the resort will be significantly limited this year, so guests who are visiting Taos Ski Valley but don’t intend to ski are encouraged to reserve a room with The Blake or one of the other base-area lodgers, or stay home.

Taos Ski Valley staff are passing a daily temperature and symptom assessment and will also be wearing face coverings. Seasonal staff will be required to present a negative COVID test prior to commencing work. Buildings and facilities have new operations protocols in place, designed to maintain the highest levels of sanitation.

Taos Ski Valley will continue to comply with all federal, state, and local guidelines. Taos Ski Valley leadership hopes that the added precautions will allow for an on-time season opening and the ability to remain open throughout the winter. Taos will continuously monitor all guidelines and the pandemic’s affect on the community, and may adjust its business operations at any time in response.

«The snowmaking system is prepped and the lifts will be spinning soon; something we’ve been envisioning for the last six months,» continued Norden. «Our experience over the summer shows us that our guests are as eager as we are to get outside, and we’ve been gratified by their embrace of our COVID Safe Practices. This season’s visitors will find a warm, welcoming resort community, thrilling and invigorating mountain activities, and an even more intimate experience than they have known and loved in Taos in the past.»

The 2020-2021 season is expected to open on November 26, 2020.

Connected vehicle data provides real-time hurricane evacuation information for Departments of Transportation to facilitate faster, safer evacuation

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Wejo, Moonshadow Mobile, the University of Maryland CATT Lab, and the Eastern Transportation Coalition have joined forces to provide the Departments of Transportation of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Wejo, Moonshadow Mobile, the University of Maryland CATT Lab, and the Eastern Transportation Coalition have joined forces to provide the Departments of Transportation of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia with a real-time traffic monitoring system during the hurricane season.  The system will use data coming from Wejo, and it’s network of connected vehicles, as people are evacuating to get out of the path of an approaching hurricane.

The system will use data from Wejo as people are evacuating to get out of the path of an approaching hurricane.

During an evacuation, one of the biggest problems for traffic managers is how to avoid congestion on major escape routes.  With the Moonshadow and Wejo live system, traffic management centers have up to date information on speeds and congestion from hundreds of thousands of driving vehicles within minutes.  They can see when traffic is becoming congested and where they need to implement lane direction reversals to increase capacity.  The system shows which alternate routes are still moving well and how traffic should be redirected.  By playing back movement over time, they also have a good idea when and where the public is evacuating for the approaching hurricane.

«I am very excited to bring this ground-breaking work to our member states. Real time volumes are the most important piece of missing data that agencies need today, especially when monitoring severe weather events such as hurricanes,» says, Denise Markow, Director of the Eastern Transportation Coalition. «Currently, transportation agencies must rely on archived, historical data to make real time operational decisions. Data from vehicles is the future and the Coalition is committed to pushing the innovation barrier to bring agencies critical information especially when it comes to cross border movements.»

Wejo collects data from over 18 million active vehicles in the United States with close to 100 percent road coverage.  Moonshadow receives 95% of the data from Wejo within 60 seconds of it leaving the vehicle and ingests it into Moonshadow Live Traffic, an online service based on Moonshadow’s DB4IoT connected vehicle database engine.  The University of Maryland CATT Lab has created scaling factors that aggregate the street mapping data every 30 minutes for each day of the week for every road segment. Moonshadow will use the UMD scaling factors to estimate the total amount of traffic on each road segment at any point in time.

Once the Eastern Transportation Coalition became aware of this new technology they rounded up seven of their member state DOTs to participate in a Proof of Concept for this fall.  The result is an online system that shows speeds and volume estimates for the entire region within five minutes of real-time.

«In today’s transportation planning world, the problem has been turning the vast amounts of available connected vehicle and mobility data into useful information that helps planners and agencies make informed decisions,» says Eimar Boesjes, CEO of Moonshadow, «Our partnership with Wejo allows us to provide real-time data solutions to those in-need, to change the impact of future emergency situations on cities and the people that live in them.»

Traffic managers from all six states can access the system from a web browser whether they are in the Traffic Management Center (TMC) or on the road.  The maps update automatically every few minutes to show the latest data.  Moonshadow Live Traffic is fully interactive and users can zoom in on any area to view the traffic situation in detail.  Managers can also go back to any point in time in the last 24 hours to view the traffic conditions and even play back vehicle movement.  The Wejo data is so exact that speed differences between lanes can be observed as well as where and how traffic is backing up.

Moonshadow Live Traffic using Wejo data is available for any area in the U.S. and can help DOTs, MPOs and cities to better understand evacuation traffic trends from hurricanes, fires, flooding or any other natural disaster.

About Wejo: Wejo provides access to the largest and most unique connected car data asset of its kind. They partner with automotive manufacturers to organize and enhance streams of authentic connected vehicle data, unlocking its value for drivers and public and private sector organizations. Wejo’s data and insights are licensed to ethical, like-minded businesses – from traffic analysts to parking app developers, smart city planners to governments. Wejo specializes in vehicle data and processes billions of data points from thousands of sensors globally. Wejo analyzes this data and makes it accessible to create customer and economic value, enable safer driving and makes cities more liveable.

About Moonshadow: Moonshadow Mobile, Inc. is an Oregon-based database technology company owned by a small group of founders, investors and employees. Our mission is to improve the way people understand, visualize, analyze and work with big data from connected vehicles and mobile devices. Moonshadow’s founders, software engineers, database experts, sales and support staff are all dedicated to creating innovative technology – transformative software that breaks barriers and makes new things possible.

Moonshadow’s patented Database for the Internet of Things (DB4IoT) makes connected vehicle databases with billions of records accessible in a map-based interactive user interface at unsurpassed speeds.  Queries that take hours in traditional database engines are usually completed within minutes.  DB4IoT is an online mobility analytics platform that provides transportation engineers and planners with the tools to derive actionable information from billions of mobile records without having to master complex query languages.

About the Eastern Transportation Coalition: The Eastern Transportation Coalition is a partnership of 17 states and D.C. focused on connecting public agencies across modes of travel to increase safety and efficiency. Formerly the I-95 Corridor Coalition, the organization started as an informal group of transportation professionals working together to manage highway incidents that impacted travel across state lines. In the past 25 years the Eastern Transportation Coalition has evolved from a small, highway-focused group to more than 100 public agencies working together to address the pressing challenges facing the eastern corridor with a focus on Transportation Systems Management & OperationsFreight, and Innovation.

Today the Coalition represents the world’s second largest economy and nearly 40% of the nation’s GDP. The Eastern Transportation Coalition connects members with the data, people, resources and tools needed to create solutions and get them across the finish line.
