LOS ANGELES, Jan. 13, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — INTELITY®, the provider of hospitality’s most comprehensive guest experience and staff management platform, today announced it has been named a top finalist for two 2021 HotelTechAwards in the Guest Experience Technology category. The HotelTechAwards finalists were selected from more than 1,000 of the top technology products worldwide after an awards period, which included thousands of verified hotelier reviews.

The HotelTechAwards are the hospitality technology industry’s top awards event and its only data-driven one. Winners were determined not by a handful of judges or popularity votes, but by the hospitality industry itself, with reviews from a global community of hoteliers spanning over 120 countries. During the awards period, INTELITY secured nearly 50 glowing reviews from hoteliers on all six continents, with customers praising the platform’s feature set, implementation, usability, customer support, and more. INTELITY averaged over 4.5 out of 5 stars in all categories, with over 90% of customers strongly recommending the platform to their peers.

«In the midst of a global pandemic, 318,466 hoteliers visited Hotel Tech Report from every corner of the globe contributing thousands of verified new product reviews during the 3-month awards period to share insights about their favorite technology products,» shared Hotel Tech Report CEO Jordan Hollander. «Finaling in key categories in the HotelTechAwards as INTELITY has done is a reflection of quality every company should be extremely proud of.»

This is just the latest industry recognition of excellence for INTELITY, a company that has prided itself on a history of innovation and an expansive hospitality technology platform for over a decade. During that time, INTELITY has been recognized as a HotelTechAwards finalist numerous times, won three HTNG TechOvation awards, and received four platform patents around its ticketing and keyless technologies. The company is also currently in its fourth consecutive year securing the Forbes Travel Guide Official Mobile and In-Room Technology Provider for Recommended, 4-star, and 5-star properties, one of the industry’s highest honors.

«Hotel Tech Report is one of the best resources available for hoteliers to find and vet leading hospitality technology vendors. This has been especially true during the pandemic, as technology has become a critical component of safety strategies at properties around the world,» noted INTELITY CEO Robert Stevenson. «To be named a top finalist for not just one, but two of the most competitive Guest Experience Technology awards is an honor, and truly showcases our commitment to both hotelier satisfaction and product excellence across the entire INTELITY platform.»

PR Newswire

GLENVIEW, Ill., Jan. 13, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Optimas Solutions, a global industrial manufacturer/distributor and service provider, announced it has completed IATF Certification for its worldwide operations by adding its center of excellence in Pune, India, and new distribution sites in Mexicali, Mexico, and Lockbourne, OH, placing it at a level of quality assurance certification unmatched in the fastener industry.

IATF Certification comes from the International Automotive Task Force and represents the highest level of quality assurance in the automotive industry and beyond. This coupled with the company’s annual achievement of ISO 9001 certification is a high-water mark for Optimas as the first time all its global operations have achieved these levels of certification.

«As a team, our entire organization around the globe has worked very hard to achieve the IATF certification, which represents best in class quality management systems for both manufacturing and distribution, engineering, and supply chain management. This is meaningful to our customers as they expect the highest level of quality from Optimas,» said Gabriela Gallegos, Optimas Vice President of Quality. «Less than 15 percent of suppliers in industrial markets have achieved IATF certification and we are very proud to be part of that elite group.»

According to Optimas CEO Marc Strandquist, this achievement opens more doors for securing new business and working at new levels with existing customers. «We are one of very few fastener suppliers and manufacturers that have IATF registration, which is well recognized outside of the automotive industry as a premiere level of quality assurance in the business world,» he said. «Our Manufacturing Solutions strategy announced last August is once again paying off for our customers and suppliers alike.»

In 1999, IATF aimed to harmonize the different assessment and certification systems worldwide in the supply chain for the automotive sector with its first edition of ISO/TS 16949 standards.  The IATF 16949 standard provides guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products consistently meet customer requirements and that quality and customer satisfaction are consistently improved. The IATF 16949 standard is a supplemental standard and is used in conjunction with the ISO standards and is a common set of techniques and methods for common product and process development for automotive manufacturing worldwide. The standards are often used outside the automotive industry and is a testament to their high level of applicability across other manufacturing sectors.

Avalon Park Group has formed an international consortium with Switzerland and Singapore based partners to bring a 300+ megawatt photovoltaic energy farm to Volusia County.  «Utilizing the abundant natural resource of the Sunshine State allows us to create a photovoltaic farm at a scale that will not only support the sustainability of the Avalon Park Daytona Beach Community, but also provides a renewable energy source for the entire region to utilize,» says Beat Kahli, CEO, Avalon Park Group.

The company’s vision to create healthy, sustainable communities’ dates back 35 years to one of its first projects, the Comino Hotels in Malta, where solar energy was used.  Avalon Park Group has since been engaged in other sustainability ventures including timber, agriculture technology and other solar projects in Germany and Switzerland.

Additional sustainability plans include a biomass and agrivoltaic farm, an advanced wetland treatment park to assist in treating the excess greywater that has been a long-time regional issue.  Additional plans include an agrihood, timberland, regional recreational amenities, and additionally to ensure the preservation of existing wetlands and open space.

«Renewable energy in the form of photovoltaic is where the energy market is moving to,» says Beat Kahli, CEO, Avalon Park Group.  «We are not entering this market in the US with our Swiss and Asian Partners because of a scarcity of fossil energies like gas, coal or oil, it is just an idea for which the time has come.  Similarly, the world didn’t move out of the stone age because of the lack of stone, but because of the abundance of new and better resources.»

This land enhances the sustainability plans of Avalon Park Group within Volusia County which currently includes plans for a compact, walkable, mixed-use and interconnected town where everyone can Live, Learn, Work and Play.
