El Venue trae de forma estándar numerosos componentes de seguridad que incluyen: Una pantalla TFT de 3.5 pulgadas que muestra los indicadores para la conducción, una pantalla de visión trasera, una pantalla de 8 pulgadas AM/FM/HD® para el sistema de audio de radio (Radio Audio System) con Apple CarPlay™ y Android Auto™ con cuatro bocinas; un puerto de conexión para USB en la primera fila de asientos; un conector de 12 voltios; sistema de teléfono Bluetooth® de manos libres; controles de audio situados en el timón; control inteligente de crucero; faros delanteros automáticos; aire acondicionado; entrada por control remoto sin llave, así como un indicador de la temperatura exterior. El Venue también posee el sistema SmartSense de Hyundai, una serie de componentes de seguridad que incluyen Ayuda para evitar colisión al frente con detección de peatones ( Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection); Ayuda para mantenerse en el carril (Lane Keeping Assist); Alerta para la atención del conductor ( Driver Attention Warning ); Control electrónico de la estabilidad (Electronic Stability Control); Administración de la estabilidad del vehículo – Vehicle Stability Management (VSM por su sigla en inglés) con Control de tracción (Traction Control), así como también bolsas de aire frontales, laterales y de cortina para la cabeza, todas ellas como equipamiento estándar. El sistema de Ayuda para evitar colisión en el punto ciego (Blind-Spot Collision – Avoidance (BCA) con detección de peatones y el de Ayuda para evitar colisión con el tráfico trasero (Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) son opcionales en el modelo SEL y estándar en el modelo Denim.   

El Venue incluye asientos traseros plegables a 60 / 40 a fin de maximizar la conveniencia para las aventuras de cada día, por ejemplo una visita al mercado campesino local o la transportación de instrumentos musicales. Los detalles de estilo del SUV Venue lo convierten en la opción ideal para todos aquellos que buscan versatilidad y un espacio de carga creativo. El piso del espacio de carga, con un componente de doble nivel, provee flexibilidad para acomodar la carga, ya que se puede tener en la posición de arriba cuando los asientos están plegados, o en la posición baja a fin de poder colocar más carga.
