RICHARDSON, Texas, Aug. 4, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — RaaWee K12 Solutions, an enterprise software company focused on the needs of K12 Education, announces a Forum Series for open discussion on how School Districts will continue to track student attendance and identify developing absentee and engagement issues in the new distance and hybrid learning models.
RaaWee K12 TDPS is built on the fundamental principle that a student’s achievement is directly correlated to their consistent attendance and, now with expanded instructional modes, instructional engagement. While districts across the country address the many details and challenges needed to re-open schools for the new school year in at-school, distance, or hybrid learning models, all are concerned with the new implications identification of at-risk students.
RaaWee K12 TDPS ensures equitable access to education for all and that no student falls through the cracks, even in these challenging times.
To address this need, RaaWee K12 was honored to host three events facilitating dialogue and promoting idea sharing among numerous public school districts on Student Attendance Tracking & Interventions in Fall 2020. These events, bringing together 250 educators from more than 100 public school districts and education service agencies, highlighted several common imperatives across districts:
- – Ensuring Equity for all students will remain a top priority.
- – Closer Attendance Tracking will be essential to minimize learning loss in online learning – both synchronous and asynchronous.
- – Proactive, positive two-way Communication between School and Home will be key to consistent Student Engagement.
- – Students often respond to one Learning Mode better than another. Data and Analysis by in-person, online (synchronous vs – asynchronous), and hybrid are necessary to more clearly identify needs.
- – New Barriers are emerging with these new challenging times. Quick identification of these Barriers and Interventions must adapt to meet these new needs.
Targeted Recovery of Instruction & Credit will be critical to the success of students struggling through new instruction modes.
Saleem Qazi, CEO of RaaWee K12 Solutions, states, «It was truly our pleasure to host these conversations. And what we learned is that identifying those students who are failing to engage in instruction is more important than ever. Attendance and participation tracking are critical in this changing school environment, and hearing from our partner district allows us to be nimble in providing adjusted data and enhanced two-way communication tools.» As a result of these forums, RaaWee K12 has added many new tracking and data features, including those in online synchronous and asynchronous learning models. Plus apps that simplify communications between school-home and home visits when needed.
This event series is available for video viewing at Event 1, Event 2, and Event 3. For additional information on RaaWee K12 Solutions commitment to preventing chronic absenteeism, non-participation, truancy, and dropout prevention, contact RaaWee K12 at 972-782-4287.
