NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — As individuals increasingly turn to online options for their networking and career needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, WISE (Women In Sales Everywhere) today announced the launch of their Individual Memberships, a direct-to-consumer option for members to meet, share knowledge and find career opportunities through WISE’s existing global community.

«Over the last few years, WISE has been working to build this next generation of female sales leaders, but we’ve traditionally gone top down by working directly with companies as an extension of their existing Employee Resource Groups. By investing in an Individual Membership model, we’re able to empower the individuals directly,» said Alexandra Adamson, Executive Director. «We believe knowledge and network are crucial to growing your career. We want WISE to be a bridge that helps more women to access both.»

Individual Membership

WISE Individual Membership will give members unlimited access to WISE Pods, an interactive way to meet other community members from around the world in a virtual roundtable setting with topic discussions led by experienced WISE mentors. Members have access to the WISE Online Forum, hosted via Slack, where they can connect and continue conversations with other members they’ve met through Pods or WISE events. Members will also have the opportunity to be paired with someone from the WISE Executive Council, a subgroup of VP or C-Suite individuals who have volunteered to mentor and contribute their time and knowledge to the WISE community.

Company Sponsorship

WISE will continue to offer their B2B sponsorship packages at the company level, though they’ve shifted this model away from their previous city-specific strategy. «Going into 2020, our plan was to grow the community by launching events in various cities around the world. In March that plan had to change. When our digital panels and virtual programming saw phenomenal engagement, it gave us the confidence to pivot,» explained Adamson.

«We wanted sponsorship options that could work for all sizes of companies and sales teams. The new Individual Membership also opens doors for companies to support women on their team by subsidizing their Individual Memberships if buying a corporate sponsorship doesn’t make sense for them. Companies are extra aware of employee engagement and supporting their teams right now. We want to be a go-to resource.»
