With seven wins in 11 races this season, Honda continues to lead the IndyCar Manufacturers’ Championship, with an unofficial total of 911 points to 824 points for Chevrolet, as the company seeks a third consecutive manufacturers’ title in 2020.  Today’s race was the second podium sweep for Honda this season, as Takuma Sato led a 1-4 finish for Honda drivers at last month’s Indianapolis 500.

Scoring his first win of 2020, but the fourth Indy car win in just the second year of his career, Herta led 57 of the 75 laps today, resisting an early challenge from fellow Honda driver and championship points leader Scott Dixon, then maintaining a narrow, but consistent advantage over his teammates Rossi and Hunter-Reay to the finish.  For Andretti Autosport, the 1-2-3 sweep was the first for the team since the 2005 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

Finishing second and third, respectively, Rossi and Hunter-Reay fought for position throughout the day, but running identical strategies and with clean pit stops for both, ran in virtual lock step once Rossi passed his teammate during the opening stint of the race.  Graham Rahal came from 12th on the grid to finish fourth, while Marcus Ericsson gained 10 positions in an impressive run in the opening laps to complete the top five finishers for Honda.

While dueling with Rossi and Hunter-Reay following the first round of pit stops, championship leader Dixon survived a spin exiting turn one to recover in 19th.  He then spent the rest of the day working his way through the field to finish 10th and maintain an unofficial lead of 72 points in the Drivers’ Championship battle after 11 of 14 races.

Casio had been an official partner of the Scuderia Toro Rosso since 2016. The EQB-1100AT and ECB-20AT collaboration models are the first since the team changed its name to Scuderia AlphaTauri in this season. The dials feature a gradated navy blue and white color scheme, taking after the Scuderia AlphaTauri team colors and exactly the same navy blue as the EDIFICE brand color. The ECB-20AT features a navy blue case and band. Both models are inscribed with the team logo on the dial, case back, and band, part of a design that is infused with the world view of Scuderia AlphaTauri.

The EQB-1100AT features a thin 9.6 mm case and an octagonal bezel combined with carbonused extensively in motorsports. The watch can simultaneously display the time in two cities. Reading into GAC MOTOR’s warranty: Understanding the “secrets” behind the car industry’s warranty policies

This warranty sounds attractive, but is it reliable? Reading into the fine print, we realized when brands advertise an «extended warranty,» this usually does not cover the whole car. Instead, different parts of the vehicle have separate warranty periods. However, how many consumers have realized this «secret»?

Comparing time-based warranties: A comparison based on individual car mileage

A full warranty is the leading advertising attraction for car manufacturers today. To a certain extent, it reflects the confidence the car manufacturers have in their products. However, we found out that a full car warranty coverage does not necessarily include a warranty for all the vehicle components. It typically covers only large pieces that are not easy to wear out.

GAC MOTOR’s extended warranty is valid for five years or up to 150,000 kilometers, while another brand covers six years or up to 200,000 kilometers. However, does the duration in the warranty coverage make it necessarily better? Based on an average car mileage for better consideration, we believe it is a negligible difference. For example, a family car would clock an average distance of 20,000 kilometers annually. Based on this data, there was no discrepancy in the condition of the main components when comparing between five or six years.

Comparing component warranty policies: The more components covered, the better

Consumers often overlook the lifespan of consumable car components which requires constant replacement every three years. If manufacturer warranties do not encompass these items or the warranty period covered is too short, this will increase the periodic maintenance expenditure for car owners.

Under the warranty terms for consumable car components, GAC MOTOR covers up to 20 items, which is significantly more than the industry average.

Warranty duration of accessories: Focus on car components which are frequently used

Consumers should also pay attention to the duration of the warranty period for accessories. Most car components warranties are shorter than the full car warranty duration. For example, the commonly used headlights and suspension warranty period are typically three months or up to 5,000 kilometers, or three years or up to 10,000 kilometers. However, GAC MOTOR extends the same warranty duration of 5 years or up to 150,000 kilometers for these same parts.

En total, se entregaron 10 vehículos de rescate de emergencia en seis bases de demostración. Los cuatro vehículos que se dirigen a Golmud son los camiones de bomberos de rescate de emergencia JY18 y JY20, el camión con equipos de extinción de incendios QC700 y el vehículo de rescate JY10.

  • El JY18 es un todoterreno equipado con el chasis todoterreno de doble puente altamente maniobrable de desarrollo propio de XCMG, adecuado para rescates de emergencia en catástrofes naturales, como terremotos, inundaciones y aludes.
  • El JY10 es un modelo resistente diseñado para el transporte de almacenamiento de equipos y está equipado para hacer frente a fugas de sustancias químicas peligrosas con arena seca como agente extintor.
  • El QC700 puede transportar más de 700 equipos de rescate de 120 categorías.
