Reconocimiento a las miles de personas que eligieron el cambio

La instalación exhorta a repensar nuestros hábitos de consumo y en el cuidado de la naturaleza», dijo Blásquez.

Alfredo ha estado relacionado con temas de sustentabilidad y educación, principalmente a través de diferentes publicaciones y exposiciones en México y Estados Unidos. Su trabajo artístico se enfoca en crear conciencia sobre el uso desmedido de los productos de plástico, los cuales contaminan los océanos con 12 millones de toneladas de basura al año, de acuerdo con Greenpeace.

El artista visual destacó que la obra no sería posible sin la colaboración de la Fundación para la Asistencia Educativa (FAE), organización que apoya a niños en situación de pobreza extrema. Padres de familia que se dedican a la recolección de basura fueron quienes reunieron las más de 10,000 piezas. Por cada una recibieron un apoyo económico destinado a mejorar la educación de sus hijos.

Sin duda la mejor opción para los 15 millones de fumadores en México siempre será dejar el hábito por completo. (Nasdaq: CLSK) (the «Company»), a diversified software and services company today provided a 60-day post-acquisition update on its Bitcoin mining operations and announces that it expects to further increase its Petahash rate in February 2021, beyond prior projections.  

CleanSpark’s Bitcoin Expansion Exceeds Prior Estimates.

CleanSpark has continued to procure and deploy mining equipment as part of its strategic growth initiative, purchasing its equipment mostly through dealer networks rather than directly through the manufacturers to ensure immediate availability. Orders for new mining equipment continue to be delivered in multiple shipments and are promptly commissioned as they arrive. Prior to the end of February, the Company expects to have in excess of 315 Ph/s of Bitcoin mining capacity deployed.  This will represent a greater than 65% increase in mining capacity since the December 10, 2020 acquisition. 

CleanSpark has focused on increasing energy capacity in conjunction with the expanding mining capacity as it continues to progress toward its goal of mining at the lowest cost of energy for any domestic Bitcoin mining operation. Energy costs and power capacity, factored with the overall environmental impact of mining operations will become increasingly important as difficulty levels increase, and greenhouse gas emissions are more strictly regulated under the Biden administration.  In light of companies like MicroStrategy, PayPal, Square and Tesla making substantial investments into Bitcoin, demand is expected to increase which will certainly invite scrutiny surrounding the single biggest factor in mining operations that support the blockchain–energy.

NEW YORK, Feb. 9, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — SpinCar, the global leader in digital automotive merchandising software and data, and IHS Markit, a world leader in critical information, analytics and solutions, announced today the results of a six-month study aimed at measuring the impact of digital merchandising for automotive dealers. The Digital Merchandising Impact Study examined the relationship between shopper behaviors on dealer websites and vehicle purchase rates. For the study, SpinCar analyzed digital merchandising engagement behaviors and vehicle purchases of 4 million consumers who visited more than 200 dealer websites from July through November 2020. Polk Automotive Solutions by IHS Markit provided vehicle purchase analysis that was used in the study.

«For years, automotive dealers, OEMs and software providers have been trying to clearly understand the relationship between the online shopper experience and vehicle purchase,» said Joe Kyriakoza, Vice President and General Manager, Polk Automotive Solutions by IHS Markit. «The release of this study represents a key milestone in the auto industry by providing empirical evidence that validates the importance of effective digital merchandising. Key findings from the study include:

  • The level of shopper engagement with merchandising tools on a dealer website is a strong indicator of propensity to purchase. Shoppers exhibiting the highest levels of engagement purchased vehicles at more than 2x the rate of unengaged shoppers, while even moderately engaged or somewhat engaged shoppers purchased at measurably higher rates (50% and 10% higher, respectively) than unengaged shoppers.
  • Shopper engagement with specific merchandising tools correlates with higher vehicle purchase rates. Shoppers who engaged with vehicle photos on a dealer’s website purchased at a 45% higher rate than unengaged shoppers, while those who also engaged with 360° walkarounds purchased at a 64% higher rate. Shoppers who demonstrated even greater interest by exploring specific vehicle features or F&I products on a dealer’s website purchased at even higher rates (128% and 134% higher, respectively).
  • Vehicle buyers demonstrate significantly higher online merchandising engagement levels than non-buyers. Buyers who purchased from a competing dealership clicked on 70% to 80% more photos, 360° walkarounds and features than non-buyers, while buyers who visited a dealer website and then purchased from that particular dealership clicked on 3 – 5x as many photos, 360° walkarounds and features vs website visitors who did not make a purchase.

NEWPORT, Del., Feb. 9, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Compact Membrane Systems (CMS), a pioneer in innovative separations technology, has completed the first pilot demonstration of Optiperm biogas. The latest addition to the CMS portfolio is aimed at enabling the clean energy transition underway in the biogas industry, a market valued at 55 billion. Optiperm™ biogas holds the potential to create pipeline ready gas with a simpler and less expensive product. Such a technology solution would enable local farms, landfills, and other sites to process and use their own biogas product or to sell it. 

Optiperm biogas targets the separation of methane from carbon dioxide with fewer stages and less compression than existing membrane solutions, addressing the biogas market. CMS completed its first pilot demonstration and has proven membrane stability and achieved 90% methane purity with a single stage membrane unit.

Technology Overview

Optiperm biogas reduces the stages, compression, and pretreatment needed to upgrade biogas streams. The lower operating pressure (2-3 bara) makes the upgrading process more energy efficient than current high pressure membrane solutions. The fluoropolymer nature of the membranes provides stability in H2S, and resistance to common poisons like hydrogen, water vapor, and CO. The technology is scalable and can produce economically viable biogas upgrades for small, medium, and large streams. Optiperm biogas permeates the carbon dioxide, water, and hydrogen sulfide, leaving upgraded methane in the retentate. 

Pilot Results

Working with Dickinson College Energy Projects Manager Matt Steiman, a spiral wound module system was installed at the Dickinson College Farm in late 2020. During the pilot installation, Optiperm biogas demonstrated stability and verified the performance that was measured in CMS laboratory testing. The unit took feed directly from the digester with no pretreatment and operated at a feed pressure of 2.7 bara. The feed contained 56-60% methane with balance carbon dioxide, 300 ppm H2S and was saturated with water vapor.

In a single stage, Optiperm biogas achieved:

  • Stable performance for 2 months
  • 90% methane product
  • 90% methane recovery
  • 80% carbon dioxide in permeate stream
  • 8x H2S reduction (from 300 ppm to 37 ppm)
