He trabajado con gente hispana.

NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Future FinTech Group Inc. (NASDAQ: FTFT) («hereinafter referred to as «Future FinTech», «FTFT» or «the Company»), a leading blockchain e-commerce company and a service provider for financial technology, today announced updates as to three potential acquisitions; a delay in its acquisition of 90% of the issued and outstanding shares of Nice Talent Asset Management Limited («NTAM»), and the termination of the potential acquisitions of Blocknance Financial International SRL («Blocknance») and Asiasens Investment Holding Pte. Ltd. («Asiasens»).

As previously announced on July 16, 2020, the Company entered into a Share Exchange Agreement (the «Agreement») with Joy Rich Enterprises Limited («Joy Rich«) to acquire 90% of the issued and outstanding shares of NTAM, a Hong Kong-based asset management company. However, the closing process was impacted by both the Covid-19 global pandemic and slow regulatory approval from Hong Kong regulatory agencies. Consequently, there had been delayed progress as to the closing of the acquisition. The closing date as stipulated in the Agreement was no later than December 31, 2020, but since July 2020 there have been changes in NTAM’s business performance as well as the price of FTFT’s common stock. At present, the parties have agreed to renegotiate the purchase price in accordance with a new valuation of NTAM and the recent stock price level of the Company for the share exchange transaction.

As previously announced on January 4, 2021, the Company signed a term sheet with Blocknance, a company incorporated in the Dominican Republic, and its selling shareholders, to acquire 60% of the total issued and outstanding shares of Blocknance. After further negotiation of the details of the potential acquisition, the parties were unable to reach an agreement for the potential acquisition and have agreed to terminate the potential transaction contemplated in the term sheet.

As previously announced on December 18, 2020, the Company entered into a Share Exchange Agreement (the «Exchange Agreement») with Asiasens, a company incorporated under the laws of Singapore and Asen Maneuvre Group Limited («Asen Maneuvre»), a limited company organized under the laws of British Virgin Islands, to acquire 70.59% of the equity interest of Asiasens from Asen Maneuvre. The Exchange Agreement contains certain closing conditions, including that Asiasens will terminate its variable interest entity («VIE») agreements with four VIEs in Indonesia and change its controlling interest in PT Permata Techno Indonesia («PTI») from a VIE structure to a direct equity ownership structure. The Exchange Agreement stipulated that if the closing conditions of the Exchange Agreement have not been fulfilled on or before January 31, 2021, or such later date as the parties agree to in writing, the Exchange Agreement shall cease to be effective, and thereafter neither party shall have any obligations and liabilities towards each other thereunder. As the closing conditions to the Exchange Agreement were not satisfied on January 31, 2021, and since the parties were unable to agree on new terms to extend the closing period subsequent to February 1, 2021, the Company has notified Asen Maneuvre and Asiasens the termination of the Exchange Agreement.

The Company believes that the termination of the term sheet and the Exchange Agreement are in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders. The Company’s strategy continues to focus on the development of its financial technology business and services through acquisitions.

«Our value proposition includes the financial technology business and integration of successful blockchain platforms into our business model as well as entry into new markets, and we will continue to assess opportunities for strategic growth as we move forward,» commented Shanchun Huang, Chief Executive Officer of Future FinTech. «While we are disappointed that two of these potential ventures did not go forward, we are confident that we are on an upward trajectory in expanding our presence in the field of fintech and financial services which remains a key element of our development plan.»

PLANO, Texas, Feb. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — What happens when sneakerheads get ahold of a luxury sport sedan? RTFKT creative collective and Lexus teamed up to find out.

To celebrate the launch of the 2021 Lexus IS, RTFKT reveals its one-of-one shoe featuring design elements inspired by the IS 350 F Sport Dynamic Handling Package. From its athletic stance and slimmer headlights to its carbon fiber spoiler and bold color schemes, the IS drove the creative team to design RTFKT’s first pair of footwear inspired by and partly constructed from vehicle materials.

«We wanted to make sure when the audience looks at the sneaker they instantly know it is the IS,» said Chris Le, creative director and co-founder of RTFKT. «All the intricate design elements come together, and at a first glance it’s a neckbreaker,» added Steven Zaptio, CEO and co-founder of RTFKT.

The RTFKT team first selected a base with a sole closely resembling a tire for their custom silhouette. Features on the front are shaped like the vehicle’s signature spindle grille, with 3D printed material imitating the carbon fiber spoiler of the car. The sides of the sneaker showcase Black NuLuxe with light gray stitching from the seats, with a middle silver stripe inspired by the details of the headlights. The team added an F SPORT branded tag on the side and a Lexus badge covering the top Velcro strap. Lastly, they selected a vibrant blue hue for the sneaker that most closely resembles Grecian Water, a new color for Lexus in 2021.

RTFKT and entertainment media company Complex documented the sneaker creation process in a three-part video series, «Rubber & Sole,» now live on Complex.com. In first episode the team is challenged to create a bespoke shoe inspired by the 2021 Lexus IS. Zaptio and Le take notes, from its newly designed spindle grill down to its NuLuxe interior, using the vehicle as their muse. The second video shows the ideation of the sneaker, from sketching designs to prototyping and materials sourcing. The third and final episode – debuting today – showcases the final details of the sneaker and explains how it is derived from the IS.

This partnership is part of the  «All In» campaign for the new 2021 Lexus IS, where the automaker celebrates those who fully embrace their passions, while showcasing its own obsession: an unapologetically pure sport sedan.

«RTFKT put the same passion into developing this one-of-a-kind shoe that we did in developing the new 2021 Lexus IS,» said Vinay Shahani, vice president of Lexus marketing. «Steven and Chris delivered a head-turning sneaker that unmistakably mirrors the bold design and impressive performance of the IS.»

Founded by Zaptio and Le, RTFKT is a global collective of designers merging next-gen gaming and sneaker culture and works with more than 150 3D artists to create its designs. The studio focuses on one-of-a-kind creations, from color-changing sneakers made from futuristic materials to digital-only virtual collectibles. Their special edition sneaker inspired by the 2021 Lexus IS sport sedan will not be available for sale.

With net proceeds of approximately $742 million to be allocated to fund sustainable projects such as our spending with diverse and small business suppliers and our investments in renewable energy projects, the bond aligns with our ongoing commitments to the community and the continued growth of Georgia Power’s solar portfolio, one of the largest voluntary renewable portfolios in the country.

Growing a Sustainable Future
Georgia Power’s commitment to building a clean and sustainable energy future includes helping its customers and other industries reduce their emissions, increase their energy efficiency and minimize their environmental footprint by investing in programs, customer offerings and initiatives. The company continues to offer customers a full range of options to expand access to solar and renewable energy generation that reduce its environmental footprint as well as maintain a focus on resource conservation, efficient energy usage and other sustainability efforts.

Georgia Power already has one of the largest voluntary renewable portfolios in the country and expects to continue as a leader in solar energy production by growing its renewable generation by more than 72 percent by 2025 — increasing the company’s total renewable capacity to 22 percent of its already diverse portfolio.

The sustainability bond is consistent with international standards and the sustainable financing framework published by Southern Company earlier this year. Southern Company was one of the first U.S. utilities to set bold, industry-leading goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its system and has set a goal of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Sneaker Culture Merges into the Fast Lane

PLANO, Texas, Feb. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — What happens when sneakerheads get ahold of a luxury sport sedan? RTFKT creative collective and Lexus teamed up to find out.

PLANO, Texas, Feb. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — What happens when sneakerheads get ahold of a luxury sport sedan? RTFKT creative collective and Lexus teamed up to find out.

ENA-Supported Suicide Screening Legislation Reintroduced in Senate, House

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Feb. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — The Emergency Nurses Association on Friday praised the reintroduction of key legislation in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives focused on improving the ability of health care professionals working in emergency departments to identify, assess and treat patients…

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Feb. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — The Emergency Nurses Association on Friday praised the reintroduction of key legislation in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives focused on improving the ability of health care professionals working in emergency departments to identify, assess and treat patients with signs of suicidality.

The Effective Suicide Screening and Assessment in the Emergency Department Act creates a grant program that assists EDs with developing improved suicide risk protocols that can help save lives.

The need for such legislation could not be more urgent, as the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the mental health issues already plaguing the United States, and there is fear that those problems will continue to worsen in the near future, according to ENA President Ron Kraus, MSN, RN, EMT, CEN, ACNS-BC, TCRN.

«Suicide is now the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S. Emergency departments, and emergency nurses in particular, have the ability to identify and find help for millions of people at risk for suicide each year,» Kraus said. «This legislation creates ways for emergency nurses to save lives by more effectively screening high-risk patients and providing them the care they need.»

The need for enhanced screening is clear because statistics show approximately 11 percent of ED patients present with suicidal ideation and ENA research published in a 2018 study determined for improvements were needed to better identify at-risk patients in the emergency department. The study concluded enhanced suicide-risk assessment should include screening tools that are used continuously during a patients’ visit.

Funding provided under the grant program created by the legislation can be used by hospitals to:

  • Provide training to emergency health care providers on identifying and treating high-risk patients.
  • Establish policies and best practices for emergency departments to improve the identification, assessment and treatment of individuals who are at high risk of suicide, as well as developing best practices for coordination of care and discharge procedures for those patients.
  • Hire behavioral health professionals who specialize in treatment of patients with suicidal ideation.
  • Improve access to care for those at risk for suicide using telehealth and developing other approaches to reduce the boarding of patients in the ED.

The Centers for Disease Control Prevention and National Institute for Mental Health report that suicide claims 47,000 American lives each year – and the nation saw a 36 percent increase in the suicide rate between 2000 and 2018. The CDC reported in June 2020 that suicide risk among Americans increased dramatically as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, with more than 25 percent of young adults between the ages of 18-24 indicating they had seriously considered taking their own life.

Kraus praised the bipartisan backing of the bill in the Senate by Sens. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and Angus King, I-Maine, as well as Reps. Gus Bilirakis, R-Fla., and Darren Soto, D-Fla., in the House.

FPInnovations introduces world’s first ready-to-produce biodegradable and eco-friendly non-medical mask

MONTREAL, Feb. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ – FPInnovations, a Canadian research and development centre, has successfully developed a biodegradable mask ready to be manufactured in Canada and ready for public use. The biodegradable mask is now ready for commercialization by Canadian manufacturers. The Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Natural Resources of Canada, announced the successful results of the $3.3 million mask project that was entrusted to FPInnovations.

The collaborative research and scientific innovation between FPInnovations and its partners allowed for the successful development of a fully biodegradable mask using its unique pilot-scale paper-machine. In addition of the mask filtering materials, FPInnovations has identified and successfully incorporated elastic ear loops and nose pieces that are biodegradable. An important part of the success is also that the mask components can be assembled readily on existing commercial mask-converting machines.

The green Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mask has been assessed by external labs according to international norms, and would set the standard for non-medical masks in terms of filtration, breathability, and biodegradability. With its unique product design, FPInnovations has also recently attained the more demanding ASTM norms of filtration efficiency and breathability that are required for procedure masks.

Quotes

«The development of a biodegradable mask clearly shows that stimulating the bioeconomy can contribute to a cleaner environment in Canada. Stéphane Renou, President and Chief Executive Officer of FPInnovations

«Biodegradable masks made from Canada’s sustainably managed forests: what a great example of the ingenuity of Canada’s forest sector. Keeping Canadians safe, and protecting our environment.»

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — EverCharge is the first electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) manufacturer to receive California Department of Food and Agriculture’s (CDFA) California Type Evaluation Program (CTEP) certification. EverCharge, the leading smart electric vehicle (EV) charging provider, is currently the only EVSE manufacturer to receive CDFA certification.

These new CDFA standards, which mirror those on gasoline pumps, ensure accuracy and transparency at every EV charging station in the state. This means that every kilowatt-hour is accounted for in the billing process and that the cost to the consumer is displayed accurately on the station. All new charging stations installed that accept payment in California require this CTEP certification as of January 1st 2021.

«EverCharge has consistently been at the forefront of tackling some of the EVSE industry’s most difficult problems,» said Jason Appelbaum, CEO of EverCharge «This certification means that every EverCharge station tracks the power used with complete accuracy, so our customers have full transparency.»

EverCharge pioneered the load management technology known as SmartPower which drastically lowers installation costs and significantly expands the charging capabilities at any site. This technology allows most preexisting structures the ability to add EV stations while avoiding the high infrastructure upgrade costs and allowing more EV owners and fleet operators easy access to charging where it once was difficult.

«First and foremost EverCharge is a customer-focused business and we feel accuracy in billing is key to the long-term success of not only the company but the EV industry as a whole,» added Appelbaum.
