XCMG spent six years tackling the fundamental problems in the application of sustainable, eco-friendly, highly-efficient technology in the area of pavement maintenance, with domestically made cold in-place recycling equipment, the XCMG XLZ2305K. 

The model with significant power reserve, strong milling power combined with 2.3-meter-wide recycling width can reach a walking construction speed of 6-8 meters per minute to ensure stable, efficient construction.

Foamed asphalt requires a stringent asphalt-water ratio, and XLZ2305K’s asphalt and water flow control technology is the key. Three days after the completion of the Xinzhou construction, the coring test results of the recycled road exceeded expectations.

As of the end of 2019, the total mileage of China highways reached 5 million kilometres. While developing rapidly, the traditional pavement maintenance model experienced tough challenges. The HiPhi X rejects the notion of having to choose between either performance or comfort by providing both. A super-long wheelbase minimizes the space occupied by the powertrain and maximizes the amount of space for occupants. The result is a large vehicle with dimensions of 5.2m / 2.62m / 1.618m but with an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.27Cd. The car also features two 220 kW motors positioned on the front and rear axle, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds. The large-capacity 97 kW hour battery, CrossLoop energy management, and cloud battery management system combine to achieve the perfect balance of energy, battery life, safety, and comfort.

Despite its size, the SUV is extremely nimble as the rear-wheel steering allows for a 10° swing in either direction. This means the 5.2m long HiPhi X has a turning radius of 11.6 m, comparable to that of a small car. Fixter study reveals 75% of UK garages are experiencing more demand for MOT bookings in winter compared to normal year-on-year trends

LONDON, Sept. 25, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Fixter, the UK’s first end-to-end online car maintenance service provider, has revealed a significant surge in demand for MOTs, just ahead of the end of the Government’s initial six-month Coronavirus extension, and is urging UK motorists to book-in their MOTs now to make sure they have a slot for their car before the upcoming winter months.

A Fixter study, conducted across its network of independent garages, reveals that 75% of garages are experiencing a surge in demand for MOT bookings for October, November and December compared to normal year-on-year trends. Meanwhile, 45% of garages admit they are having to make customers wait longer than usual to book their cars in. To compound the issue associated with the MOT backlog, 70% of garages have experienced issues with increasing costs as well as delivery and sourcing issues of general parts such as tyres and brakes.

According to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), 9.58 million vehicles got an exemption via the six-month government extension. As of 21st September 2020, 58.7% of those cars have yet to have an MOT. Instead of the typical 6.5 million MOTs expiring in October, November and December combined, it is now predicted there will be a colossal 10.4 million MOT expiries across the three months – a rise of 58.9% on a typical year.

The consequence of this is significant, as should motorists get caught without a valid MOT and their car be deemed unroadworthy, they could face a fine of up to £2500 and 3 points on their license.
